A clothing processing device disclosed in the present specification includes: a cabinet; a drum provided inside the cabinet, made of a metal material, and provided to receive a laundry therein; and an induction module which is spaced apart from the circumferential surface of the drum and heats the circumferential surface of the drum through a magnetic field generated when a current is applied to a coil having a wound wire, wherein: the induction module includes a base housing for receiving the coil; the coil includes a first region which is a portion located adjacent to the front of the drum, a third region which is a portion located adjacent to the rear of the drum, and a second region which is a portion positioned between the first region and the third region; and a shortest width of the first region or the third region is formed to be greater than a shortest width of the second region so that the coil having the wire wound on the base housing has different widths.

A washing machine includes: a tub; a drum; an induction heater disposed in a position spaced apart from the drum and configured to heat the drum; an input power source; a relay configured to interrupt a current applied to the coil of the induction heater from the input power source; a first processor configured to control the relay; and a safety device connected to a circuit connecting the first processor and the relay. The safety device includes: a first thermostat configured to operate according to a temperature of a first air between the drum and the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the first air is a first safety control temperature; and a thermal fuse configured to operate according to a temperature of a second air outside the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the second air is a second safety control temperature.

A laundry treating appliance includes a tub having a wall with an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface of the wall at least partially defines a liquid chamber. An outlet is formed in the wall. The laundry treating appliance further includes a foreign object barrier at least partially extending through the outlet and into the liquid chamber. A pump case fluidly couples to the outlet.

A laundry treatment apparatus including a base, a tub, and a drum rotatable relative to the tub about an axis of rotation that is within 20 degrees of horizontal. The axis of rotation is in a sagittal plane of the drum. The apparatus further includes a detergent container receptacle and a fabric softener container receptacle. The detergent container receptacle is further away from the sagittal plane than the fabric softener container receptacle. The laundry treatment apparatus optionally includes a heater that is optionally elevationally higher than the axis of rotation and the sagittal plane is optionally between the detergent container receptacle and at least a portion of the heater.

The laundry treatment apparatus includes: a cabinet having a front panel and an opening provided by penetrating through the front panel; a drawer body configured to be ejected from the cabinet through the opening of the cabinet; a tub provided in the drawer body and defining a space configured to receive water; a drum rotatably provided in the tub and configured to receive laundry; a drawer panel fixed to the drawer body and configured to open the opening of the cabinet when the drawer body is ejected from the cabinet and to close the opening of the cabinet when the drawer body is retracted into the cabinet; and a drawer holder configured to fasten the drawer panel to the cabinet when the drawer panel closes the opening of the cabinet.

A method of operating a laundry treating appliance comprising a treating chamber located within a cabinet of the laundry treating appliance and accessible by an access opening, a bellows extending between the treating chamber and the access opening and a bulk treating chemistry dispenser having a dispenser outlet comprising at least two spray nozzles with a first spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the treating chamber and a second spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the bellows. A method of operating a laundry treating appliance comprising a treating chamber located within a cabinet of the laundry treating appliance and accessible by an access opening, a bellows extending between the treating chamber and the access opening and a bulk treating chemistry dispenser having a dispenser outlet comprising at least two spray nozzles with a first spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the treating chamber and a second spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the bellows. The method comprises spraying a first liquid from the first spray nozzle toward the treating chamber and spraying a second liquid from the second spray nozzle toward the bellows

A laundry appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet for providing selective access to the chamber, and a user interface for controlling operation of the laundry appliance. A controller is configured to initiate a self-clean cycle and to automatically commence a drying cycle at the conclusion of the self-clean cycle. The drying cycle is based on operation data associated with the drying cycle, such as a predetermined period of time to complete drying or based on a predetermined final humidity of air exhausted from the chamber during the drying cycle.
