Laundry machine control method for removal or reduction of creases
A laundry machine having a refreshing operation and a control method of the same are disclosed. The disclosed method comprises a steam water supply operation of supplying wash water to a tub up to a water level for generation of steam while preventing the wash water to pass through a drum, when the refreshing course is selected, a steaming operation of heating the wash water by driving a washing heater, thereby generating steam, and a refreshing operation of refreshing the laundry by alternately executing, after the steaming operation, a tumbling driving operation to tumble the laundry within the drum through rotation of the drum and a spin driving operation to rotate the laundry within the drum in close contact with an inner surface of the drum, in accordance with high-speed rotation of the drum.
Bubble generator and washing machine having the same
A washing machine having a bubble generator includes a bubble spray part provided at an upper side of a tub and configured to discharge bubbles from a top to a bottom inside the tub; a wash liquid jet nozzle provided inside the bubble spray part and configured to jet wash liquid; a blowing fan provided in the bubble spray part and configured to blow air in a direction in which the wash liquid jet nozzle jets the wash liquid; and a porous plate member provided at a front end of the bubble spray part and including a plurality of holes, wherein when the wash liquid jetted from the wash liquid jet nozzle collides with the porous plate member, bubbles are generated.
Vibration isolator for an appliance motor having internal silencing voids
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet. A rotating drum is positioned within the cabinet. A blower directs process air through an airflow path. The airflow path includes the drum. A motor is coupled to the cabinet via a retaining bracket. The motor includes a drive shaft operably coupled to one of the drum and the blower. A damping ring is positioned about the drive shaft and between the motor and the retaining bracket. Damping apertures are defined within a body of the damping ring. The damping apertures define respective voids that absorb operational vibrations generated by the motor in an activated state.
Laundry Machine, Associated System and Method
In an embodiment, a method includes: transmitting radar signals; receiving reflected radar signals; transmitting radio-frequency signal (RF) signals with a first antenna site towards a second antenna site, where the first antenna site is disposed at an edge of a loading opening of a laundry machine, and where the second antenna site is disposed opposite to the first antenna site at the edge of the loading opening; receiving propagated RF signals with the second antenna site; determining a presence of a first object at the loading opening based on the reflected radar signals; determining a first property of the first object based on the reflected radar signals, and the propagated RF signals; and determining a first configuration of an operating cycle of the laundry machine based on the first property or alerting a user of the first property before the operating cycle of the laundry machine begins.
