Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus is disclosed. The laundry treating apparatus includes a first treating apparatus having a first front panel disposed on a front face thereof, a second treating apparatus disposed beneath the first treating apparatus to support the first treating apparatus, wherein the second treating apparatus has a second front panel disposed on a front face thereof, and a control panel disposed between the first front panel and the second front panel, wherein the control panel is signally connected to the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus, wherein the control panel has a top face facing toward the first front panel. A drain passage extending along a lateral direction is defined in the top face, so that water delivered to the top face flows in the lateral direction along the drain passage and is drained.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
An electric motor suitable for use in a laundry machine comprises an improved stator and/or rotor design.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus includes: a cabinet including a rear plate at a rear surface, a drum rotatably disposed inside the cabinet and configured to receive laundry, the drum including a drum rear surface facing the rear plate, and a driver coupled to the rear plate and connected to the drum. The rear plate includes: a driver mounting portion coupled to the driver, and an air flow portion surrounding the driver mounting portion, providing a flow space configured to receive air, and configured to move the air in the flow space toward the drum. The flow space is defined at a front surface of the rear plate, and the driver is coupled to a rear surface of the rear plate.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus includes: a cabinet including a rear plate at a rear surface, a drum rotatably disposed inside the cabinet and configured to receive laundry, the drum including a drum rear surface facing the rear plate, and a rear sealer disposed between the rear plate and the drum rear surface. The rear plate provides an air flow portion that defines a flow space configured to receive air and that includes an opening at a front surface facing the drum rear surface to allow air in the flow space to move toward the drum, the rear sealer extends along a circumferential direction of the air flow portion, and the drum rear surface, the rear sealer, and the air flow portion define a flow channel that includes the flow space and that is configured to move air into the drum.
Laundry treating appliance having a condenser
A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry according to an automatic cycle of operation includes a cabinet defining a cabinet interior. A container is rotatable within the cabinet interior, and at least partially defines a treating chamber. The treating chamber has a treating chamber air inlet and a treating chamber air outlet. An air recirculation circuit fluidly couples the treating chamber air outlet to the treating chamber air inlet. The laundry treating appliance includes a condenser.

The rear plate provides an air flow portion that defines a flow space configured to receive air and that includes an opening at a front surface to provide the received air to the drum rear surface, the drum rear surface provides an air passage configured to receive the air from the air flow portion, and the air flow portion includes an air guide protruding in the flow space and configured to move the air in the air flow portion.
COMBINATION WASHING/DRYING LAUNDRY APPLIANCE HAVING A HEAT PUMP SYSTEM WITH REVERSIBLE CONDENSING AND EVAPORATING HEAT EXCHANGERS
An appliance air/water handling system includes a rotating drum, airflow and fluid paths for directing process air and fluid, respectively, therethrough. First and second heat exchangers are in direct engagement with the airflow and fluid paths, respectively. A reversible refrigerant circuit delivers refrigerant through the first and second heat exchangers to alternatively define washing and drying conditions. In the washing condition the first heat exchanger cools the process air into cooled process air, and the second heat exchanger heats the fluid to define a heated fluid that is directed into the drum. In the drying condition the first heat exchanger heats the process air to define heated process air that is directed through the drum and through a third heat exchanger, and the second heat exchanger cools the fluid to define a cooled fluid that is directed to the third heat exchanger intersect with the heated process air.
