A stack-type laundry treating apparatus includes upper and lower treating apparatuses. The upper treating apparatus includes an upper cabinet, a drying drum configured to receive an object to be dried, an upper driver for rotating the drying drum, and an air flow path for supplying and discharging air to and from the drying drum. The upper cabinet includes an upper front panel defining a front face of the upper cabinet, upper side panels respectively defining both side faces of the upper cabinet, a decoration panel coupled to a top of the upper front panel, and an upper top panel contacting the decoration panel such that movement of the upper top panel is limited by the decoration panel. The upper top panel is coupled to the upper side panels.

A stack-type laundry treating apparatus includes upper and lower treating apparatuses. The upper treating apparatus includes an upper cabinet, a drying drum configured to receive an object to be dried, an upper driver for rotating the drying drum, and an air flow path for supplying and discharging air to and from the drying drum. The upper cabinet includes an upper front panel defining a front face of the upper cabinet, upper side panels respectively defining both side faces of the upper cabinet, a decoration panel coupled to a top of the upper front panel, and an upper top panel contacting the decoration panel such that movement of the upper top panel is limited by the decoration panel. The upper top panel is coupled to the upper side panels.

A washing machine includes a first housing, a second housing disposed on the first housing, a first tub included in the first housing, a second tub included in the second housing, a first drain path through which wash water from the first tub flows, a second drain path through which wash water from the second tub flows, a connector disposed at a portion where the first drain path and the second drain path are joined, and a third drain path through which the wash water introduced into the connector through the first drain path and the second drain path flows out from the connector. An air recirculation circuit fluidly couples the treating chamber air outlet to the treating chamber air inlet. The laundry treating appliance includes a condenser.

A laundry treating appliance and method for controlling the operation of a laundry treating appliance having a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber for receiving laundry for treatment in accordance with a treating cycle of operation by determining the presence of a bulky laundry item based on image data of the laundry within the treating chamber.

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, provided is a clothes treatment apparatus comprising: a tub; a drum, made of a metal, which accommodates clothes and is rotatably provided inside the tub; and an induction module, provided in the tub so as to have a spacing from a circumferential surface of the drum, for generating an electromagnetic field to heat the circumferential surface of the drum, wherein the induction module comprises: a coil which is formed by winding a wire such that electric current is applied thereto to generate a magnetic field; and a base housing mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the tub, wherein the base housing is provided with a coil slot for defining the shape of the coil in such a manner that the wire is mounted therein so as to have a predetermined distance between wire and wire.
