A method of operating a laundry treating appliance having a drum, and an air conduit fluidly coupled to the drum, with a heat source associated with the air conduit, includes moving air through an air conduit to the drum; heating the moving air by operating the heat source; and introducing atomized liquid into the air conduit upstream of the heat source.

A laundry appliance includes an outer cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for accessing an interior of the cabinet. A tub is positioned within the outer cabinet and below the aperture. A rotating drum disposed within the tub. A pretreat basin is selectively positioned in an installed position relative to the top panel and above the drum. The pretreat basin has an outer frame and a pivoting central portion that rotationally operates within the outer frame between a sealed position defined by the pivoting central portion being in alignment with the outer frame and a rotated position defined by the pivoting central portion being rotated out of alignment with the outer frame.

A laundry appliance includes an outer cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for accessing an interior of the cabinet. A tub is positioned within the outer cabinet and below the aperture. A rotating drum disposed within the tub. A pretreat basin is selectively positioned in an installed position relative to the top panel and above the drum. The pretreat basin has an outer frame and a pivoting central portion that rotationally operates within the outer frame between a sealed position defined by the pivoting central portion being in alignment with the outer frame and a rotated position defined by the pivoting central portion being rotated out of alignment with the outer frame.

A laundry appliance includes a tub contained within an outer cabinet. A motor assembly is attached to the tub having a first rotor and a second rotor that operate about a common rotational axis. A drum is disposed within the tub and coupled with the first rotor to rotationally operable about the common rotational axis. A blower is coupled to the second rotor and disposed within the tub to rotationally operate about the common rotational axis to deliver process air through an airflow path that includes a processing space defined within the drum. The blower is positioned within a blower housing that is positioned between the tub and the drum.

A laundry treatment apparatus, including a framework and a shell arranged on the framework, the shell includes a front plate provided with a clothes delivery opening, the front plate is a whole plate-shaped structure covering the front surface of the laundry treatment apparatus, an upper edge of the front plate is bent downwards to form a first installation surface, and atop of the front plate is fixed on the framework through the first installation surface. The front plate is an integrally formed integral plate-shaped structure covering the front surface of the laundry treatment apparatus, so that the laundry treatment apparatus has an integral whole appearance. The front plate and the framework are stably fixed into a whole, and gaps are prevented from being formed in the front, the back and two sides of the front plate of the laundry treatment apparatus.

A laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet and a drawer retractably provided in the cabinet. An accommodation unit is disposed in the drawer and defines a space configured to receive washing water. A water supply channel is connected to a water supply source and is configured to supply washing water to the accommodation unit. In embodiments of the invention, cartridge bins of laundry are disposed into drums for continuous flow (progressive) laundry processing. Each drum is supported by a carriage; the carriage is configured to articulate the drum and to cooperate with a space-saving processing track.
