ARTICLE OF CLOTHING HAVING MAGNETIC FASTENING ASSEMBLIES
An article of clothing, such as a dress shirt, blouse, coat, jacket, or vest, includes a sheet of material forming a body portion. First and second plackets are formed along respective first and second end portions of the sheet of material. First and second magnetic elements, each being encased in an encasement, are secured inside first and second pockets, respectively, such that positions of the plurality of second magnetic elements correspond to positions of the plurality of first magnetic elements.
Button for fastening fabrics
Button for fastening fabrics, for instance clothing, wherein the button comprises a body and is provided with attachment means at a central location of the body, arranged for attaching, for instance by sewing, the button to a fabric, wherein the body of the button has a tapering width, seen in a direction parallel to the plane of the lower surface of the body, wherein the button is further provided with attachment means at or near the circumferential edge of the body and wherein the width of the body tapers towards the location of the attachment means at or near the edge.

CONVERTIBLE INSULATED SMART GLOVE
A convertible insulated glove capable of being reconfigured into the form of two separately detachable half sections for the handling and placement of hot or cold objects intended to be worn on a person's hand when joined together, or alternatively used with one or both hands as pot holders when separated to protect the hands from exposure to temperature extremes. Alternatively, an insulated glove that can be partially opened or fully separated to form one or more trivets to protect a surface from a hot or cold object placed therebetween. Further, a convertible insulated glove having additional features rendering it easier to clean and resist the growth of microorganism for improved sanitation and safety with the handling of foods, as well as preventing stains and malodors from developing during use.

System and method for a detachable button
A detachable button system has a fixed component permanently attached to a garment and a detachable button component. The fixed component a disc-shaped base and a cylinder extending perpendicularly from said base, said cylinder featuring a plurality of tabs projecting perpendicularly from the cylinder and parallel to the base. The detachable portion had an interior cavity for receiving the cylinder, the interior cavity including a plurality of slots corresponding to the plurality of tabs, the slots receiving said tabs. The tabs vary across their width so as to provide a friction fit when the cylinder of the fixed component is inserted into the internal cavity of the detachable component and the detachable component is rotated.
HUMANIZED CARE CLOTHING
A humanized care clothing includes: a coat body, a front body thereof including left and right front side sheets spaced a full open vacancy and a detachable connecting sheet covering the vacancy, two shoulders of the connecting sheet being connectable with or detachable from two shoulder portions of a rear body, and left and right sides thereof the two opposite sides of the left and right front side sheets; a pair of restricting sleeve, two receiving pockets, two limiting pockets, a lower body clothing, the pair of buttoning sleeves being detachable from and connectable with the respective left and right front side sheets, the receiving pocket for each restricting sleeve being sewn below it, the limiting pocket being respectively overlapped with the outer parts of the receiving pockets and capable of connecting the clothing sleeve with the lower body clothing; and a collar member.
Portable fitness monitoring systems with displays and applications thereof
Portable fitness monitoring systems with displays, and applications thereof, are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of providing performance feedback to an individual using a portable fitness monitoring device is provided. The method may include sensing performance parameter information during the physical activity, generating a first visual output that includes an indication of the intensity level that the individual should be performing at, and generating a second visual output that includes an indication of the intensity level that the individual is currently performing at.

Device for controlling a button-closure system of an article and corresponding article
The invention relates to a monitor device for monitoring the closed or open state of an article, the monitor device being in the form of an electronic circuit comprising a button closure system comprising two rows of elements (11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24) made of electrically conductive material, each element of one row being couplable and un-couplable with an element of the other row. A detector-and-signaling device is connected firstly to at least one of the elements, referred to as a first terminal (21), and secondly to at least one of the other elements, referred to as a second terminal. The detector-and-signaling device (4) is configured to detect the state of electrical continuity between the first and second terminals (21, 24), and to issue a signal as a function of said detected continuity state. In a direction parallel to the rows of elements when said elements are in the coupled state, the first terminal (21) and the second terminal (24) are spaced apart from each other by at least one element (22, 23) of the button closure system (I5), said at least one element (22, 23) having no electrical connection with said terminals (21, 24) when the elements of the button closure system (I5) are in the uncoupled state.
