A liquid pump mechanism in a cooler to create a fountain type dispenser from the cooler and a liquid pump mechanism for a container that includes a viscous liquid such as detergent and/or fabric softener. The liquid pump mechanism includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The liquid pump mechanism includes an electric pump that is designed to cause fluid to flow into the bottom portion when the electric pump is activated. The bottom portion is fluidly connected or interconnected to the top portion such that fluid that flows into the bottom portion is designed to flow out of the bottom portion and to the top portion.

A laundry washing machine (1) includes an outer casing (2), a washing tub (3), a rotatable drum housed in axially rotatable manner inside the washing tub (3), a detergent dispenser (10), a fresh-water supply circuit (12) for selectively channelling a flow of fresh water towards the detergent dispenser (10) and/or the washing tub (3), and an internal water softening device (14) capable of reducing the hardness degree of the fresh water. The laundry washing machine (1) further includes: at least a main drawer (16, 74) which is fitted/inserted in extractable manner into a corresponding substantially basin-shaped, drawer housing (18, 73) which is located/recessed inside the outer casing (2), and is provided with a substantially basin-shaped, manually tillable regeneration-agent compartment (20); a first water-supply line (19) which is structured for selectively channelling a flow of fresh water into said regeneration-agent compartment (20) so as to form some brine; a brine container (34) which is located underneath the drawer housing (18, 73) and communicates with the bottom of the drawer housing (18, 73) so as to allow the brine to freely flow by gravity from a basin-shaped bottom portion (32) of said drawer housing (18, 73) into the same brine container (34); and an electrically-powered pump (35) able to selectively pump the brine from said brine container (34) to the water softening device (14).
Appliance having a housing dampening portion and method
Various embodiments of apparatuses and methods relating to appliances are provided. In one embodiment, an appliance having a housing, one or more moveable components inside the housing, a drive assembly, and a dampening portion is provided. The housing includes, for example, at least one side wall and the dampening member is disposed at least partially between the drive assembly and the at least one side wall. The dampening portion includes, for example, a resilient material having at least one surface extending at least partially along the side wall and the drive assembly. The dampening member is configured to limit movement of the drive assembly during shipping and handling to prevent damage to the appliance. The dampening member stays with the appliance after shipping and handling to enhance performance of the appliance, protect the moveable component, or both.
Laundry Washing Machine Equipped with a Treating Agents Dispenser
A laundry washing machine (1) connectable to a water mains (E, E′) has a cabinet (2) supporting a washing tub (3) external to a rotatable washing drum (4) suited to receive laundry and a treating agents dispenser (20) connectable to the water mains (E, E′) by means of at least one supply valve (40a, 40b, 40c, 40d, 40e). The treating agents dispenser (20) has a drawer (22) and a supporting structure (21) on which the drawer (22) can slide along a sliding axis (S). A water distributor (35) includes at least one inlet connector (36a, 36b, 36c, 36d, 36e) adapted to connect the at least one supply valve (40a, 40b, 40c, 40d, 40e) to at least one water conveying line (120a, 120b, 120c, 120d, 120e) for conveying water to a reservoir (23a, 23b, 23c, 23d) or to the washing tub (3). The at least one inlet connector (36a, 36b, 36c, 36d, 36e) extends along a main axis (X) which is inclined with respect to the sliding axis (S).

A laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet having an opening, a drawer configured so as to be discharged from the cabinet through the opening, a through-hole formed in an upper surface of the drawer, a tub that is located inside the drawer and that defines a space that is configured to receive water, an introduction aperture formed in an upper surface of the tub, the introduction aperture being located under the through-hole, a drum that is located in the tub, that is configured to rotate, and that is configured to receive laundry, a door that is configured to open and close the introduction aperture, the door being coupled to one of the drawer or the tub, and a guide for preventing the door from interfering with the opening when the drawer is discharged from the cabinet.
CLOTHING ITEM SEPARATING DEVICE AND CLOTHING ITEM PROCESSING DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
A clothes separating device and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device according to this disclosure are provided with a separator that operates to grip clothes in a washing tub and to separate, from the gripped clothes, another item of clothes entwined with the gripped clothes. In this manner, a user does not need to separate a plurality of individual items of clothes before folding the clothes. Hence, it is possible to provide the clothes separating device that contributes to reducing a burden of work related to laundry and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device.

A method of controlling a laundry treatment apparatus, the method including: determining whether bubbles have been generated in a tub of the laundry treatment apparatus in a state in which a second washing apparatus of the laundry treatment apparatus is operated based on a sequence of operations; and based on a determination that bubbles have been generated, reducing bubbles by (i) adding at least one first operation to the sequence of operations or (ii) replacing at least one second operation of the sequence of operations, is disclosed.
