Machine and method for cleaning fabrics or the like
Described is a method for cleaning fabrics, such as garments and the like, comprising the following steps: a) preparing a compartment for containing fabrics; b) preparing a quantity of cleaning fluid in fluid communication with the containment compartment; c) inserting the fabrics in the compartment and isolating the containment compartment with respect to an outside environment; d) sucking air from the compartment, in a substantially continuous manner, for adjusting the pressure in the compartment for containing the fabrics to a pressure less than the atmospheric pressure so as to allow the evaporation of the cleaning fluid and the introduction into the compartment of the cleaning fluid in the vapor phase, for cleaning the fabrics.

DIRT REMOVING DEVICE AND DIRT REMOVING UNIT
A dirt removing device including: a cassette mechanism having a head formed with a beating face, a liquid accommodating portion for accommodating liquid, and a water supplying passage which is started from the liquid accommodating portion and penetrates into the entire head; and a device body having a vibration unit. The cassette mechanism is detachably received in the vibration unit, and the vibration unit, when being powered, causes the cassette mechanism to vibrate in a direction substantially orthogonal with the beating face of the head. The liquid is supplied from the liquid accommodating portion to the beating face of the head through the water supplying passage, along with the vibration of the cassette mechanism caused by the vibration unit.
METHOD FOR TREATING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
A method for cleaning and decontaminating apparel includes placing the apparel into a pressurizable cleaning vessel. The cleaning vessel is filled with a solvent comprising a mixture selected from at least one of propylene glycol ether, water, organic acid and carbon dioxide. After the apparel has been in contact with the solvent for a first selected period of time, carbon dioxide gas under pressure is introduced into the cleaning vessel to carbonate the solvent. After appropriate agitation, at least a portion of the solvent is then removed from the cleaning vessel while under pressure. A rinsing solution, comprising liquid carbon dioxide and alcohol, is then introduced into the cleaning vessel under pressure. After a third selected period of time, the rinsing solution is removed from the cleaning vessel under pressure. Finally, the cleaning vessel is depressurized and the the apparel is removed from the cleaning vessel.
DEVICE FOR TREATING STAINS AND METHOD FOR TREATING STAINS USING SUCH A DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a device for treating stains, which can be carried by a person, comprising a reservoir for receiving a chemical formulation, where the reservoir has an outlet port for dispensing the chemical formulation and where the device comprises a UV radiation source which emits its radiation in a direction essentially away from the device. The invention further relates to a method for treating spots using such a device.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine includes: a frame, a drum receiving laundry, a washing chamber including (i) a first housing defining an opening and a space into which the drum is inserted, (ii) a barrier surrounding the opening and coupled to the first housing, and (iii) a second housing surrounding a first surface of the barrier and coupled to the first housing, a storage tank receiving carbon dioxide to be supplied to the drum, a distillation chamber separating contaminants dissolved in liquid carbon dioxide, an electronic circuit, and a configuration unit. The configuration unit includes a pipe moving the carbon dioxide, a first compressor and a second compressor compressing the carbon dioxide discharged after washing is completed in the drum and moving the compressed carbon dioxide into the storage tank, and an oil separator separating oil from the carbon dioxide compressed in the first compressor and the second compressor.
CONTROL METHOD FOR CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS
A control method for a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus includes an air washing device for performing air washing on clothing. The control method includes: obtaining the material of clothing; obtaining the type of a clothing detergent; obtaining the type of a stain on the clothing; and determining a parametric range of air washing according to the material of the clothing, the type of the clothing detergent, and the type of the stain on the clothing. The embodiments allow clothing to be subjected to air washing treatment within an optical parametric range, i.e., a detergent can exert an activation function to the greatest extent, and also allows a stain to be removed and cleaned within the most suitable parametric range to improve the clothing decontamination capability, thereby improving a clothing treatment effect and improving user experience.
Fabric treating appliance comprising a scrubbing tool
A fabric treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior and having a top wall defining an access opening. A cover is provided that is movable relative to the cabinet between an open position and a closed position to selectively close the access opening. A tub is located within the interior and includes and open top aligned with the access opening. A rotatable basket is located within the tub and has a loading opening aligned with the open top and the access opening. A top wall extends between the cabinet and the tub.
Stain removal accessory
A stain removal accessory that cooperates with a stain removal device for treating a stained area is attached to a front head of the stain removal device, namely to a water and/or steam venting face of the stain removal device. The stain removal accessory includes a container like a pad, a cartridge, a sachet, or a capsule provided with a permeable external layer, for containing a stain removing material, and a flap-flip piece including a holder for holding the container, whereby the stain removal accessory is adapted to release the stain removing material on the stained area when cooperating with the stain removal device by facing a flow of water and/or steam generated by the stain removal device.
VACUUM-BASED METHOD AND APPARTAUS FOR CLEANING SOILED ARTICLES
Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are vacuum-based systems, products, devices, and methods for de-odorizing, disinfecting, or cleaning articles such as clothing, shoes, toys, or dishes. A system or device can comprise a vacuum chamber comprising a housing defining an internal space having an internal pressure and an opening; a vacuum lid adapted to engage with the opening of the vacuum chamber; and a vacuum source connected to the vacuum chamber, wherein operation of the vacuum source reduces the internal pressure of the internal space of the vacuum chamber, wherein the lower internal pressure enhances the vaporization and removal of odors located on one or more articles disposed within the vacuum chamber.
