A washing machine and a method of controlling the same, which are capable of easily refreshing laundry, are disclosed. The washing machine includes an outer tub to contain wash water, an inner tub rotatably disposed in the outer tub, a hanger unit, which is disposed over the inner tub and on which laundry is hung, a steam generator disposed at the outer tub to heat the wash water so as to generate steam, and a drive unit rotating the inner tub to rotate the hanger unit and introduces the steam generated from the steam generator into the inner tub.

A dishcloth drying apparatus and method includes a countertop and a support positioned on the countertop such that the support extends upwardly from the countertop. The support includes a panel that has an upper surface and a perimeter edge. A holder for supporting a dishcloth in spaced relationship from the panel is attached to the panel. The holder includes a pair of legs and each of the legs is attached to and extends upwardly from the upper surface. A rod is attached to and extends between the legs. A dishcloth, when wet, is positioned on the rod of the support such that the dishcloth hangs from the support and dries.

A dishcloth drying apparatus and method includes a countertop and a support positioned on the countertop such that the support extends upwardly from the countertop. The support includes a panel that has an upper surface and a perimeter edge. A holder for supporting a dishcloth in spaced relationship from the panel is attached to the panel. The holder includes a pair of legs and each of the legs is attached to and extends upwardly from the upper surface. A rod is attached to and extends between the legs. A dishcloth, when wet, is positioned on the rod of the support such that the dishcloth hangs from the support and dries.

A clothes care apparatus comprises: a care chamber; a support bar to extend along an extending direction; a holding member which includes a hanging portion, at upper end of the holding member, supportable by the support bar; a support portion arrangeable such that while an upper end of the hanging portion is hung on the support portion the hanging portion is supported by the support bar; a slider to perform a linear reciprocating motion; and a swing hook, to grip a lower end of the hanging portion, and moveable while the slider performs the linear reciprocating motion. The upper end of the hanging portion is supported at one point by the support portion while the lower end of the hanging portion reciprocates as the swing hook moves while the slider performs the linear reciprocating motion, thereby the hanging portion is to shake the clothes hung on the holding member.

A hanger may include a support body, a fastener to couple to the upper portion of the support body, an air supply device provided at the support body, and a moisture supply device provided at the support body. The air supply device may include a fan configured to suction and discharge air. The moisture supply device may include a moisture generator configured to provide moisture or steam. The fastener is disposed above the fan in a first direction, and the moisture generator is disposed below the fan in a second direction opposite to the first direction such that the fastener, the fan, and the moisture generator are disposed to overlap each other in the first direction.

A hanger may include a support body, a fastener to couple to the upper portion of the support body, an air supply device provided at the support body, and a moisture supply device provided at the support body. The air supply device may include a fan configured to suction and discharge air. The moisture supply device may include a moisture generator configured to provide moisture or steam. The fastener is disposed above the fan in a first direction, and the moisture generator is disposed below the fan in a second direction opposite to the first direction such that the fastener, the fan, and the moisture generator are disposed to overlap each other in the first direction.

A hanger device according to the present disclosure may comprise a body having at least one opening to allow air to be suctioned into the body and at least one discharge port to allow suctioned air to be forced out of the body. A fan module may be provided inside the body. A filter may be configured to remove foreign substances contained in the suctioned air. A hanging unit extends from the bottom surface of the main body. At least one wind guard may be provided in front of the hanging unit, and configured to move in a vertical direction, and a driving unit may slide the wind guard in a vertical direction.

A hanger device according to the present disclosure may comprise a body having at least one opening to allow air to be suctioned into the body and at least one discharge port to allow suctioned air to be forced out of the body. A fan module may be provided inside the body. A filter may be configured to remove foreign substances contained in the suctioned air. A hanging unit extends from the bottom surface of the main body. At least one wind guard may be provided in front of the hanging unit, and configured to move in a vertical direction, and a driving unit may slide the wind guard in a vertical direction.
