Disclosed is a laundry treatment apparatus configured to condense moisture by supplying cooling water to the interior of a tub containing laundry therein. The laundry treatment apparatus includes a tub, a drum rotatably provided in the tub, a cooling water port provided at the inner rear surface of the tub so as to be adjacent to the inner side surface of the tub in order to supply cooling water along the inner side surface of the tub, and a guide rib formed so as to protrude from the inner side surface of the tub in a radially inward direction of the tub and to extend from the cooling water port toward the front side of the tub in order to disperse the cooling water supplied from the cooling water port on the inner surface of the tub. The apparatus is capable of reducing energy consumption and improving drying performance.
LOW PRESSURE LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
An apparatus and method for a low pressure laundry treating appliance having a cabinet defining an interior, and a drum provided within the interior, the drum including at least an inner wall and an outer wall. Pressure differentiations and flash evaporation can enable drying without excess use of conventional heating methods.
Portable suit and helmet dryer
A portable dryer for suits and helmets includes a housing; a motor driving one or more blowers; a first air duct for directing air from the one or more blowers into a helmet, the housing configured to receive the helmet over an outlet of the first air duct; and a pair of second rotatable air ducts each for directing air from the one or more blowers into a separate leg of a suit, the second pair of rotatable air ducts spaced from the first air duct so as not to interfere with the outlet of the first air duct. The rotatable air ducts may be replaced with flexible tubing. An optional suitcase may contain the suit and helmet dryer and include a telescoping pole on which to hang a suit to be dried.
Device to extract dry clothes from a clothes dryer
Disclosed is a device to extract dry clothes from a clothes dryer. The device comprises a support loop. The support loop includes a netting disposed within the support loop. The support loop is made of at least one of a plurality of fiberglass rods and stainless steel spring. The support loop flexes to allow it to fit into an opening at a front door of the clothes dryer and then expands to overlie the clothes. The drum is then manually rotated 180 degrees so that the clothes lie on top of the netting and the entire device is then again flexed and removed from the dryer with the dried clothes.
COGNITIVE DRYNESS DETERMINATION OF GARMENTS
Provided is a method, computer program product, and drying system for determining a dryness level of a garment. A processor of a controller may receive location data from a position sensor. The location data indicates a position of one or more garments on a drying rack. The processor may register the location of the one or more garments on a virtual map of the drying rack displayed on a user interface of the controller. The processor may receive dryness data for the one or more garments from a moisture sensor. The processor may compare the dryness data to a dryness threshold. In response to the dryness data meeting the dryness threshold, the processor may push a notification to a user.
Laundry treating appliance with imaging control
A laundry treating appliance having a rotatable drum defining a laundry treating chamber, where the laundry in the laundry treating chamber may be imaged and a condition of the laundry determined based on the imaging of the laundry. A notification can be provided to a user based on the determined motion condition.
