Since the type of the fabric F is identified on the basis of the color of the color thread T, the type of the fabric F is enabled to be stably identified with high accuracy regardless of stretching and shrinking of the fabric F.

An ironing machine (1), such as a cylinder ironer, is provided. The ironing machine (1) comprises a cylindrical body (3) having heating means (5) for heating of the cylindrical body (3) and at least one temperature sensor arrangement (7), arranged to be in contact with the cylindrical body (3) and to detect a temperature of the cylindrical body (3). A door is coupled to the cabinet and a pants crease management apparatus is disposed on a rear surface of the door. The pants crease management apparatus includes a press plate coupled to the rear surface of the door, a press door coupled to the press plate, and a film disposed between the press plate and the press door. The film can be placed between side portions of pants when pressed in between the press plate and the press door in a process to remove wrinkles from the pants and put a crease in the pants.
