Cuff links with interchangeable decorative plates with improved quick-release mounting
A cuff link may releasably secure two cuffs of a French cuff shirt, and is configured to interchangeably receive any of a plurality of decorative cover plates to easily/quickly change its appearance. The decorative cover plate is formed with a magnetic material. A base of the cuff link has a post extending therefrom, with a cross-member. The base also includes an opening with a peripheral side wall shaped to correspond to the decorative cover plate, and a bottom wall. The bottom wall has a flat first portion formed of a magnetic material, to magnetically couple the cover plate thereto. A second portion of the bottom wall is also flat, but formed at an angle to the first portion to permit pivotal movement of the decorative plate within the recess, to unsecure the magnetic coupling of the magnetic material of the decorative plate from the magnetic material of the first portion.
Extension link for coupling an unbuttoned button with a buttonhole
Extension links function like a rein that connects an undone button to a buttonhole. Extension links allow garments and items with buttons to be worn and used with the buttons unbuttoned, creating a looser fit and more room than would be the case if the button was fastened through the buttonhole in the traditional manner. This is accomplished by receiving and holding the button to one end of the link, then tethering it to a buttonhole over a span that is the length of the extension link. The extension link, in a simple embodiment, is a fixed length of any suitable material that is able to hold a button from either end, as in having elastic or fixed loop ends. An end loop of the extension link is slipped over a button, the link is passed through a buttonhole or holes, then doubled back and connected to the same or different button using its other identical looped end, with variations on this configuration. This effectively but loosely captures the buttonhole(s) to the button(s), maintaining alignment and proximity, expanding the fit, and in some cases allowing material to be folded back on itself for interesting variations in function, style and color.

CUFF LINK TOOL
A cuff link that doubles as a multipurpose tool is provided, wherein the multipurpose tool provides both screwdriver and bottle opener functionality. The cuff link tool has a head plat perpendicularly joined to two spaced apart bracket members. Between the two spaced apart bracket members a link post is pivotally connected about an axle that extends between the distal ends of the two spaced apart bracket members. So not only can the link post operate as such, because terminates in a screwdriver interface, can be used as a screwdriver when a user rotates the head plat. An off-center notch is provided in the head plat, so that it too may be discretely used as a bottle opener.

Cufflink Device
A cufflink device is provided having a cufflink base, a cufflink cap, and an elastic cord extending therefrom. The cufflink base has an upper end, a lower end, and a midsection. The elastic cord forms a closed loop that extends from the lower end of the cufflink base and is adapted to secure around the midsection of the cufflink base when securing a shirt cuff together. The cufflink cap is supported by the upper end of the cufflink base and can have a variety of ornamental appearances so that the cufflink device can be manufactured in any number of styles. The elastic cord allows the cufflink assembly to expand when a user pulls his or her shirt cuff upwards along his or her arm. The elastic cord may either terminate within the interior of the cufflink base or be secured to the base of the cufflink cap.
