GARMENT TAGS FOR INTELLIGENT LAUNDERING ALERTS

Aspects of the present disclosure involve an apparatus, systems, and methods for providing intelligent laundering alerts. Example embodiments involve an intelligent garment tag that may be affixed to garments, and may store and provide information about the garment to which it is affixed. The information stored thereon describes various aspects of the garment including color, fabric, and laundering information. The intelligent garment tags further include an alert component for providing laundering alerts (e.g., a flashing or colored light, a warning noise, or a vibration) based on, for example, garment color compatibility or laundering device (e.g., washing machine or clothes dryer) compatibility.

Method and apparatus for feeding items of laundry to a mangle or to some other laundry-treatment arrangement

Items of laundry are fed from an input machine to a mangle or some other laundry-treatment arrangement. Operating personnel are employed to feed the input machine with the items of laundry. This is costly in terms of time and personnel. The invention makes provision for determining surface profiles of the items of laundry by means of imaging installations. From these surface profiles a location for the automatic gripping of the item of laundry or of a corner of same, and preferably also the position of the location or corner, is determined by electronic image processing, whereby the location or corner of the item of laundry can be securely gripped in an automatic and targeted manner. By virtue of the described measures, hitherto manual activities in front of the input machine can be easily performed in a reliable and fully-automatic mode.

System and Method of Clothes Cleaning

In some embodiments, a cleaning machine automatically identifies cleaning instructions associated with a load of textile articles, e.g., wearable and/or non-wearable textile articles, using an RFID reader. At least some of the wearable textile articles in the load include a respective RFID tag that provides information to the cleaning machine. In turn, the cleaning machine can configure various cleaning settings based upon the information. Some embodiments identify incompatibilities between the various cleaning settings, and provide a notification of this incompatibility. When the various cleaning settings are compatible, some embodiments automatically start a cleaning cycle.

CLOTHES CLASSIFYING STORAGE DEVICE, WASHING MACHINE, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed are a clothes classification and storage device, a washing machine and a control method therefor. The clothes classification and storage device includes a controller, a driving mechanism and at least two clothes accommodating parts, where the driving mechanism is configured to drive the clothes accommodating parts to move under control of the controller and deliver any one clothes accommodating part to a set position for clothes throwing. Meanwhile, a washing machine with the above clothes classification and storage device and a control method therefor are proposed. The clothes classification and storage device has at least two clothes accommodating parts, so that clothes to be separately washed can be classified and placed in different clothes accommodating parts by a user, and each clothes accommodating part can be delivered to the set position through the driving mechanism for clothes throwing.

AUTONOMOUS DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PACKING UNFOLDED LAUNDRY ARTICLES

Devices, systems, and methods for autonomously packing unfolded laundry articles into a container are described. The system includes a container configured to receive the laundry articles, a movable surface for receiving the container, and at least one drive motor for imparting motion to the laundry articles in the container, including at least one of a shaking, twisting, vibrating, oscillating, shushling, and tilting. At least one sensor is configured to detect two or more container fill heights. A controller in communication with the at least one drive motor and the at least one sensor is configured to instruct the at least one drive motor to rotate at least one of a driven conveyor, driven pusher, and driven rollers and the container disposed thereon rapidly back and forth repeatedly until a maximum height variation in the two or more container fill heights falls within a threshold range.
