ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPARATUS
An artificial intelligence apparatus determines whether a washing option in a washing course according to the input of a user is changed when input of the user is received, and collect use history information when the washing option is changed. In addition, the artificial intelligence apparatus inputs the collected use history information to an option resetting model to acquire a second washing option for resetting the washing course, and resets the washing option included in the washing course according to the second washing option.
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for managing the mixture and delivery of a plurality of laundry products to a plurality of washing machines
A system, method, and apparatus for controlling a plurality of washers and the mixture and deliver of laundry product solutions to the plurality of washers. Generally, a GUI allows for a user to select one or more washers and one or more laundry products. A computing device receives the user input and controls the system hardware to further execute the input. The system uses a combination of solenoids and peristaltic pumps to direct water flow to be mixed with the selected solid and/or liquid laundry products. The water and laundry product solution is further directed to the one or more appropriate washer. A third-party payment terminal allows for the user to pay before using the system. The system, method, and apparatus generally allow for a resource efficient and cost effective solution to laundry needs.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COMMERCIAL WASHING MACHINE BY USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SYSTEM FOR THE SAME
Disclosed are a method for controlling a commercial washing machine by using artificial intelligence and a system for the same. The method for controlling a commercial washing machine by using artificial intelligence comprises: a step of receiving a request for use of a plurality of commercial washing machines connected to each other through a network from a user through a user terminal; a step of transmitting the request for use to a cloud server; a step in which the cloud server selects an available one of the plurality of commercial washing machines for the request for use and sets the commercial washing machine to a standby state; and a step in which the cloud server provides the user with a recommended washing course created based on a user's use history of the plurality of commercial washing machines.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE CLOSURE ELEMENT WITH TOUCH INTERFACE
A household appliance includes a housing; a treating chamber located within the housing and having an access opening; a closure element movable relative to the access opening between opened and closed positions to selectively provide access to the treating chamber through the access opening; a controller associated with the housing and implementing a treating cycle on at least one item in the treating chamber; and a human-machine interface. The HMI includes a first portion associated with the housing and a second portion associated with the closure element. The first portion includes non-touch sensitive indicia. The second portion includes an electrically conductive layer having a touch-sensitive area corresponding to the indicia of the first portion and is arranged to be in register with a corresponding selection area when the closure element is in the closed position.
Method for the determination of a laundry weight in a laundry treatment appliance
A method for the determination of a laundry weight in a laundry treatment appliance. The method includes selecting a laundry program in the laundry treatment appliance; starting the selected laundry program; sensing a plurality of parameters indicating operating conditions of the laundry treatment appliance during the laundry program; and predicating a weight of the laundry present within the laundry treatment appliance based on said plurality of parameters by means of a data-driven soft sensor.
Washing machine and control method therefor
Proposed are a washing machine and a control method therefor, which may allow a user to safely and additionally put laundry in during the operation of the washing machine including an auxiliary door. The washing machine includes an auxiliary door through which laundry is additionally put in, indicates whether additionally putting-in of laundry during the operation of the washing machine is allowed, and enables a user to determine the same, in order to provide an algorithm for safely operating the auxiliary door, and checks a rotation of a drum, a temperature of the inside, and a level of water when it is desired to additionally put laundry in, so as to enable the user to safely put the laundry in. Also, when the user additionally puts laundry in while the washing machine performs a cycle, the washing machine changes a cycle profile for each cycle, and corrects a cycle profile according to an additional put-in point, thereby raising reliability of the user for the washing machine.
DISTRIBUTED NETWORKED LAUNDRY MACHINE CONTROL AND OPERATION
Methods, system and apparatus for the controlling laundry machines in a laundry facility. A user device receives a list of machines for a laundry facility and displays them on a machine control user interface. The user may then make a selection of a machine, a selection of an operation type and a selection of one or more operational parameters associated with the selected operation type. The selection of the operation type and the one or more operational parameters may be made on the user device or on the selected machine. The machine control user interface may then display the user selections, an estimated duration and a cost. The estimated duration and cost may be based on the selected machine, selected operation type and the one or more selected operational parameters.
Laundry treatment appliance slider-based user interface
A laundry treatment appliance, program product and method utilize a slider-based user interface to facilitate user selection of settings for a laundry treatment cycle. A slider-based user interface, for example, may include a fabric slider control that receives user input that selects from among a plurality of fabric selections and a cycle modifier slider control that receives user input that selects from among a plurality of cycle modifier selections capable of increasing and/or decreasing various default settings associated with various fabric selections.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A LOW FLOW CONDITION DURING THE FILLING OF A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE
A washing machine appliance includes a sump for collecting wash fluid, a water control valve for supplying wash fluid during a fill cycle, and an accelerometer for measuring tub accelerations. A controller is configured for opening the control valve to provide the flow of water into the wash tub, measuring an acceleration of the wash tub using the accelerometer, and determining that a low flow condition exists based at least in part on the acceleration of the wash tub.
Washing apparatus
The present invention relates to a washing apparatus and to a washing apparatus having a convenient user interface. More specifically, the present invention relates to a washing apparatus that provides a user interface that is concentrated, simple and intuitive. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a washing apparatus may be provided that is characterized by comprising: an annular rotary knob provided for course selection; a display for selectively displaying a course screen showing information on a course selected from within the radial directions of the rotary knob, and an options screen for changing options for at least one wash water temperature; washing intensity, number of rinses, and spin-dry intensity within the course; a switching input part provided within the radial directions of the rotary knob in order to switch between the course screen and the options screen through a selection by a user; and a single variable input part provided to change the options when in the options screen and to make inputs unrelated to the options when in the course screen.
