Washing Machine Appliance with on Demand Fluids
A washing machine appliance includes a supply conduit having an exit positioned for directing water into a basket of the washing machine appliance. A door is positioned over the basket in a closed position. A water valve is coupled to the supply conduit. A controller opens the water valve in response to actuation of a water supply input and a signal from a sensor that the door is in the open position.
Method, device, and system for detecting dynamic imbalance of washing machine
A dynamic imbalance detection system capable of whether a washing machine is in a dynamically imbalanced position by using big data and executing an AI algorithm or a machine learning algorithm in a 5G communications network environment built for IoT. The system includes a washing machine and a server communicating with the washing machine. The washing machine includes a vibration sensor attached to a washing machine cabinet and a controller receiving a vibration signal detected by the vibration sensor during the operation of the washing machine and processing the vibration signal into vibration data. The server receives the vibration data from the controller and trains a machine learning algorithm on a training dataset that is obtained by processing one or more features among a displacement magnitude, a displacement ratio, and a displacement phase, and determines result values of dynamic balance and dynamic imbalance labeled with the one or more features.
Graphical User Interface
A user interface includes a touch-sensitive display and a display control unit for controlling the display. A method for controlling a household appliance using the graphical user interface includes the steps of: displaying a first graphical representation on the display, the first graphical representation including symbols, each symbol being associated with an appliance subunit of the household appliance; when a symbol is touched by a touching means, transmitting control signals from the control unit to the display to change the first graphical representation into a second graphical representation; displaying information regarding a change of a setting value of the appliance entity associated with the touched symbol when the touching means is dragged from a first position to a second position at the display; and changing the graphical representation at the display from the second graphical representation to a third graphical representation when lifting the touching means from the display.
DETERGENT POURER STERILIZER AND STERILIZING METHOD THEREBY
Disclosed herein is a detergent pourer sterilizer. In one aspect, a detergent pourer sterilizer is provided to include a housing including a hollow portion having an open side; a detergent pourer configured to be detachably attached to the housing; a cover member configured to open or close the one open side of the hollow portion; and at least one UV LED configured to emit ultraviolet light toward the hollow portion.
Multiple laundry treating machine
A multiple laundry treating machine, in which an auxiliary laundry treating device is coupled to a general laundry treating device, is disclosed. The multiple laundry treating machine includes a main laundry treating device for washing or drying laundry contained in an interior of the main laundry treating device, an auxiliary laundry treating device arranged at one side of the main laundry treating device, the auxiliary laundry treating device having a volume and a height respectively smaller than a volume and a height of the main laundry treating device, and having a laundry container formed in an interior of the auxiliary laundry treating device, and a connecting unit for connecting the main and auxiliary laundry treating devices, to enable communication or control operations between the main and auxiliary laundry treating devices. In accordance with the multiple laundry treating machine, it is possible to achieve a convenience in use and to save energy because a small amount of clothes or shoes can be dried by the auxiliary laundry treating device, without driving a laundry treating device having a relatively-large capacity.
Appliance User Interface Panel Having Integrated Components
A user interface for an appliance is provided, including a user interface panel and a control component attached to the user interface panel. The user interface panel includes a plurality of traces for providing an electrical connection for the control component. The plurality of traces are integrally formed with the user interface panel such that the plurality of traces and the user interface panel are a single, unitary component. In some embodiments, the unitary user interface panel is curved. A method for forming a unitary user interface of an appliance also is provided, including establishing courses of a plurality of traces of the unitary user interface; converting the courses into control data for use in a laser direct structuring process; and using the laser direct structuring process to integrally form the plurality of traces with a user interface panel to form a unitary user interface panel.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus is disclosed. The laundry treating apparatus includes control panel body that defines an opening with a circular perimeter and a diameter. The laundry treating apparatus further includes at least one light source. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a rotary knob that is configured to manipulate a rotary switch and that has an outer circumferential surface that is spaced apart from the circular perimeter of the opening to define a clearance between the rotary knob and the control panel body. The laundry treating apparatus includes further a knob decorative member that is located between the rotary knob and the circular perimeter of the opening. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a window that includes a light transmission portion through which light emitted from the at least one light source passes.
Washing machine appliance and suspension assembly for same
Washing machine appliances and suspension assemblies for suspending tubs in washing machine appliances are provided. A suspension assembly includes a frame, a mount seated on the frame, and a rod coupled to the mount. The rod is rotatable about a pivot point. The suspension assembly further includes a sensor assembly operable to monitor rotation of the rod. The sensor assembly includes a sensor and a reference surface. One of the sensor or the reference surface is coupled to the rod and rotatable with the rod relative to the other of the sensor or the reference surface. The sensor is operable to measure reference distances from the reference surface.
FRONT-LOADING WASHING MACHINE
The present disclosure discloses a front-loading washing machine including a cabinet, having a from panel, in which the front panel is provided with an opening; a tub having an access port for loading and unloading laundry, in which the tub is disposed in the cabinet and configured in such a manner that the access port is capable of being moved up and down in the opening; a rotatable drum, disposed in the tub; a door unit, mounted to the tub, and configured to cover the access port; and a driving mechanism configured to drive the tub to rotate, in which the driving mechanism is provided in the cabinet and coupled to the tub.
