LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE FOR DRYING LAUNDRY
A method of operating a laundry treating appliance with a treating chamber for treating a load of laundry the method comprising supplying a rinse to the treating chamber during a rinse cycle, spinning the treating chamber in an extraction cycle to remove excess moisture from the load of laundry, sensing a parameter indicative of a remaining moisture content value in the load of laundry, comparing the remaining moisture content value to a pre-determined remaining moisture content value.
Laundry appliance utilizing a permanent split capacitor motor having a sensor for providing temperature control within the appliance
A laundry appliance includes a blower that selectively delivers process air through an airflow path. A rotating drum defines a portion of the airflow path. The rotating drum is attached to a drive shaft that rotates the rotating drum about a rotational axis. The blower and the drive shaft are operated by a common motor. A heater selectively delivers heat to the airflow path. The heater defines an energizing state when a motor current delivered to the common motor is within a predetermined motor current range that is indicative of the common motor operating. The heater defines an idle state when the motor current is outside of the predetermined motor current range.
Laundry treating system and kit for use with a laundry treating appliance
A laundry treating system includes a laundry treating appliance having a first basket for receiving a first laundry load and a first clothes mover disposed in the first basket. The laundry treating system is user configurable between first, second, and third configurations. A kit for customizing a laundry treating appliance can include a second clothes mover and a second basket configured to removably couple with the laundry treating appliance.
Apparatus for treating laundry
An apparatus is disclosed for treating laundry, including a cabinet having a top surface providing a space for seating an object therein, a front surface provided with a first perforated hole and a second perforated hole and a top surface perforated hole configured to perforating the top surface, a drawer drawable from the cabinet through the first perforated hole, a drum rotatably provided within the drawer to provide a space for storing the laundry therein, a slide exposed to the front surface of the cabinet through the second perforated hole to maintain a state that the drawer is drawn from the cabinet in a preset reference distance, and a transfer part exposed to the top surface of the cabinet through the top surface perforated hole so as to move the slide into the cabinet if an object is seated on the top surface.
SELF CLEANING SUMP COVER
A fluid flow system for a laundry appliance includes a blower that delivers process air along an airflow path having a heat exchanger. A drain channel receives condensate from the heat exchanger and fluid spray from a spray nozzle for directing lint particles to the drain channel and on to a sump for collecting fluid, including the condensate. A pump seat and a fluid outlet are integrally formed in a sump cover. A pump directs the fluid from the sump to the fluid outlet. A fluid level sensor detects at least minimum and maximum capacities of the fluid in the sump. When the fluid is below the minimum capacity, the pump defines an idle state. When the fluid reaches the minimum capacity, the pump defines an active state. When the fluid exceeds the maximum capacity, the pump directs the fluid to the fluid outlet.
Operating mode determining method and operating mode determining device
Disclosed are an operating mode determining method and an operating mode determining device for determining an operating mode of a clothing treatment apparatus using image information by executing an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm and/or machine learning algorithm in a 5G environment connected for the Internet of Things. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the operating mode determining method includes obtaining first image information obtained by photographing clothing through a camera of the clothing treatment apparatus, obtaining second image information obtained by photographing an entrance and exit of a user wearing the clothing through a camera for monitoring an entrance and exit of a room, and determining an operating mode of the clothing treatment apparatus according to an analysis result of the first image information and the second image information.
Method Of Detection For An Over-Loaded Drying Capacity In A Clothes Dryer Or A Combo Washer-Dryer Dryer
A method of controlling load volume in a laundry drying appliance where a load of wet laundry is place in a drum of the laundry drying appliance and the load volume of the wet laundry is sensed or determined according to the method. A condition of the drum of the laundry drying appliance is actively monitored and a determination is made if a proper load volume is present in laundry drying appliance.
SELECTABLE METHOD OF CONTROL FOR DOUBLE BASKET LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
An method of operating a laundry treating appliance can include a first basket defining a first treating chamber and a second basket defining a second treating chamber. A liquid supply system can selectively supply water to the first basket, second basket, or both of the first and second baskets. A user interface can be configured to receive input from a user. A controller can operably couple with the liquid supply system and the user interface. The controller can receive an input at the user interface to a configuration type for the laundry treating appliance and can indicate treatment variable available to the user reflective of the configuration type.
