Smart clotheshorse and method for controlling hanger in smart clotheshorse
The present disclosure provides a smart clotheshorse and a method for controlling a hanger in a smart clotheshorse. The smart clotheshorse includes first supporting poles parallel to each other, a hanger connected between the first supporting poles and configured to be slidable along the first supporting poles, the hanger having a driving device and a control device; and a sensing device. The sensing device is configured to sense environmental information of the hanger. The environmental information includes at least one of humidity information and light intensity information. The control device is configured to control the driving device based on the environmental information. The driving device is configured to drive the hanger to slide along the first supporting poles.
Washing machine and method of controlling the same
The present disclosure relates to a washing machine, having an actively movable balancer, and method of controlling the same. The washing machine according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a balancing unit to move along a circumference of a drum to reduce imbalance due to an unbalanced distribution of the laundry; a transmission coil provided at a tub to generate a wireless power signal and transmit power wirelessly to the balancing unit; a transmission converter to apply power at a driving frequency to the transmission coil; a voltage measurer to measure a transmission voltage, which is a voltage of the transmission coil; and a transmission controller to control the transmission converter based on the transmission voltage measured by the voltage measurer, thereby transmitting sufficient power wirelessly to the balancing unit in a short period of time.
WASHING MACHINE FOR ADJUSTING OPERATION BASED ON INJECTED DETERGENT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A washing machine capable of operating in an IoT environment through a 5G communication network and estimating the type and amount of injected detergent through a neural network model created according to machine learning, and a method of controlling the washing machine, are provided. The washing machine may include a first tub into which laundry is loaded, a water supplier configured to supply washing water to the first tub, a detergent detection sensor configured to detect first conductivity and first turbidity of the washing water, and a processor configured to determine a washing cycle of the washing machine based on detected information.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LAUNDRY PROCESSING APPARATUS
A method for controlling a laundry processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises steps of: inputting power to at least a second processing device and, through an input unit in the second processing device, inputting an installation inspection instruction for the second processing device; performing a primary inspection process by the installation inspection instruction; and performing a second inspection process after the primary inspection process is completed. In the primary inspection process, the control unit of the second processing device controls a plurality of inspections to proceed automatically in sequence, and the plurality of inspections may comprise at least two of a pairing inspection, a drawer closing state inspection, a drawer locking state inspection, and a lid closing state inspection.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND SANITATION MANAGING METHOD FOR LAUNDRY USING THE SAME
A laundry treating apparatus may include a main body, a door, a driver, a water supplier, a drain, an internal sensor, a controller, and a display. The internal sensor may measure at least one factor from among a temperature, a humidity, and a contamination degree inside the washing tub. The controller controls operations of the driver, the water supplier, and the drain, and receives input of the at least one factor measured by the internal sensor to derive a recommended take-out time of washed laundry. The display displays the recommended take-out time derived by the controller.
DRYER AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR THE SAME
A controlling method for a dryer is provided. The controlling method includes the steps of rotating a drum in a first direction and a second direction which is an opposite direction to the first direction by a motor, measuring the load of the motor and identifying the weight of drying materials based on the lower motor load among the load of the motor measured during rotation in the first direction and the load of the motor measured during rotation in the second direction.
WASHING MACHINE WITH SELF-SELECTING WASHING CYCLE USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
A washing machine including a rotatable cylinder comprising a washing chamber to hold washables, one or more sensors, and a processing device, communicatively connected to the one or more sensors to control an operation of the washing machine, to receive sensor data captured by the one or more sensors, determine, using a machine learning model based on the sensor data, a plurality of properties associated with the washables, determine a setting for the washing machine based on the plurality of properties, and cause the washing machine to operate according to the setting.
DRYER FIRE DETECTION, PREVENTION, AND SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
Described herein is a system for detecting, preventing, and suppressing dryer fires using temperature probes coupled to an alarm system, air flow monitoring, and localized fire suppression. The components of the system are positioned and integrated with each other to prevent and, if necessary, detect and suppress localized fires that may occur in commercial or residential fabric drying machines (i.e., dryers).
WASHING APPARATUS INCLUDING CLOUD CONNECTED SPECTROMETER
A washing apparatus (e.g. a laundry washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) and method configure a wash cycle in part based on spectral data obtained from a spectrometer positioned with the washing apparatus and analyzed in a remote cloud service.
Washing machine appliances and methods of operation for determining load size
A washing machine appliance and method of operation for determining load size are provided herein. The washing machine appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a wash basket, a measurement device, a motor, and a controller. The cabinet may include a front panel. The front panel may define an opening. The tub may be positioned within the cabinet. The wash basket may be rotatably mounted within the tub. The wash basket may define a wash chamber to receive an article load of one or more articles. The measurement device may detect movement of the tub. The motor may be in mechanical communication with the wash basket to selectively rotate the wash basket within the tub. The controller may be in operative communication with the measurement device and the motor.
