A cleaning apparatus is disclosed. The cleaning apparatus includes a roller system including a drive roller and one or more guide rollers configured to receive an elongated article to be cleaned. Each guide roller and the drive roller form a serpentine path for the article. The cleaning apparatus further includes a frame for supporting each guide roller and the drive roller; and a fluid delivery system for directing fluid at top and bottom faces of the article. The fluid delivery system includes one or more conduits. Each conduit is in fluid communication with a plurality of nozzles to direct fluid to the top and the bottom faces of the article. The cleaning apparatus further includes an actuator to linearly displace at least one of conduits back and forth during operation. The drive roller may be a sprocket for engaging and transporting the article. The article may be a conveyor belt.

A mat washer is disclosed which includes a mainframe, a rail surface affixed to the mainframe at an angle of 25 degrees to 90 degrees, a conveying system adapted to transport one or more mats along the rail surface, an enclosed washing chamber having one or more spray bars adapted to direct jets of water at each mat, a discharge wheel adapted for stacking each mat onto a discharge rack, a water recycling system having a waste conveyor adapted to separate large debris from water, the water recycling system have one or more filtration devices adapted to separate small debris from water, and a high pressure pump to supply water under pressure to the one or more spray bars.

A floor mat cleaning system configured for cleaning an at least one floor mat is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the system provides an enclosure sized for receiving the floor mat therewithin. A front wall of the enclosure defines an opening that allows access into the enclosure. A suspension mechanism is positioned within the enclosure and configured for allowing the floor mat to be selectively suspended therewithin. A washing assembly is engaged with the enclosure and configured for cleaning the suspended floor mat. A floor panel, front wall, rear wall and opposing side walls of the enclosure cooperate to define a basin configured for catching and retaining any debris or substances that might fall from the suspended floor mat while it is being cleaned.
