Label and method of manufacturing the same from recycled material
The present invention relates to brand identifiers, more particularly to woven labels used to mark, advertise or otherwise brand apparel and other consumer articles to identify the source of the particular goods. The woven labels of the present invention are preferably composed of post consumer waste or recycled materials, such as polyethylene, PET, polyester, cellulosic and other readily available materials that may be converted for the purpose of the present invention.
METHOD FOR MARKING A TEXTILE THREAD WITH A FLUORESCENT ELEMENT, TEXTILE THREAD PRODUCED BY THE MARKING METHOD, AND USE OF SAID TEXTILE THREAD FOR WEAVING AN ITEM OF CLOTHING
A method for marking a textile thread by a fluorescent element has the following successive steps: placing a textile thread and at least one fluorescent element in a reaction chamber, introducing a fluid into the reaction chamber, increasing the temperature and pressure in the reaction chamber up to a temperature and a pressure so as to transform the fluid into a supercritical fluid and to mark the textile thread by the fluorescent element. The fluorescent element is chosen from organolanthanide complexes.

Marking of Fabric Carrying Case for a Portable Electronic Device
Techniques or processes for providing markings on fabric articles are disclosed. In one embodiment, the articles may be fabric carrying cases for electronic devices. For example, a fabric carrying case for a particular electronic may include a fabric base layer and a plurality of thick films coupled to the fabric base layer, wherein the plurality of thick films may comprise a top thick film and an underlying thick film. Regions of the top thick film may be selectively etched through, for selectively exposing the underlying thick film. The selectively etched regions may be arranged for marking of textual or graphical indicia on the fabric carrying case for the portable electronic device.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR PIECING A MATERIAL TO FORM A QUILT
A method of texturing fabric to produce a surface of a quilt. The method includes folding down the fabric top along a marking of a first set of markings to produce a fold and sewing a seam along the fold, repeating the folding and sewing steps for each marking of the first set of markings. After folding and sewing, the method can include cutting a portion of each fold where the seam associated with the first set of markings intersects with the other set of markings. The method can include folding down the fabric top along a marking of a second set of markings to produce a fold and sewing a seam along the fold, repeating the folding and sewing steps for each marking of the second set of markings.
