Base templates for many finishes by laser

Laser finishing of apparel products allows an operating model that reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduce product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Improved aspects include design, development, planning, merchandising, selling, making, and delivering. The model uses fabric templates, each of which can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

GASIFICATION OF DENSIFIED TEXTILES AND SOLID FOSSIL FUELS

Densified textile aggregates are co-fed with a fuel into a partial oxidation gasifier. High solids concentrations in the feedstock composition can be obtained without significant impact on the feedstock composition stability and pumpability. A consistent quality of syngas can be continuously produced, including generation of carbon dioxide and a carbon monoxide/hydrogen ratio while stably operating the gasifier and avoiding the high tar generation of fluidized bed or fixed bed waste gasifiers and without impacting the operations of the gasifier. The syngas quality, composition, and throughput are suitable for produce a wide range of chemicals.

A sanitation system includes a drum configured to be positioned within a body of an appliance. The drum includes a lifter on an interior surface. A sanitation device is selectively disposed within the drum. The sanitation device includes a housing. A heatsink is integrally formed with the housing. The heatsink and the housing form an outer structure free of apertures. A sensor assembly is disposed within the outer structure. The sensor assembly includes a humidity sensor configured to sense humidity. A light source is disposed within the outer structure.

On-demand manufacturing of laser-finished apparel

An on-demand manufacturing of apparel system includes online customization and ordering of garments, previewing of the garments, manufacturing including laser finishing of garments, and delivery to the customer. Laser finishing of apparel products reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduces product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Fabric templates can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

Apparel Collection Management with Product Modifications

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Users may collaborate while designing the apparel and designate what items should belong in specific collections.

Bast-fiber material processing method

The invention relates to the textile industry, and specifically to methods for processing bast-fiber materials, for instance the fiber of flax, hemp, jute, nettle, kenaf, and others. The technical result which the present invention aims to achieve consists in: enhancing the quality of a cottonized fiber, when processing bast-fiber materials, by means of high-voltage electric pulse discharges following preliminary biochemical and final minimal mechanical processing; and in enhancing the physical/mechanical and spinning properties thereof, which, overall, allows for an optimized, efficient production process. Said technical result is achieved in that a bast-fiber material processing method includes a technological sequence of processes involving feeding raw material into a bale breaker, which is provided with a decompactor, and into a dosing system, processing using high-voltage electric pulse discharges, rinsing with emulsifying reagents, washing and press-drying in a drum-type installation, decompacting, final drying and light decompacting; the raw material is biochemically treated prior to being fed into high-voltage electric pulse discharge chambers.
