Methods, processes, and apparatuses for producing welded substrates
A welding process may be configured to convert a substrate into a welded substrate by applying a process solvent to the substrate, wherein the process solvent interrupts one or more intermolecular force between one or more component in the substrate. The substrate may be configured as a natural fiber, such as cellulose, hemicelluloses, and silk. The process solvent may be configured as an ionic-liquid based solvent and the welded substrate may be a congealed network after the process solvent has been adequately swollen and/or mobilized the substrate. A welding process may be configured such that individual fibers of a substrate are not fully dissolved such that material in the fiber core may be left in the native state by controlling process variables. The welding process fibers may have a tenacity 10% or 20% greater or a diameter 25% less than that of a cellulosic-based yarn substrate.
TEXTILE PRODUCT HAVING APPLIED THEREON WITH A TREATING COMPOSITION
The present description discloses a Textile Product having applied thereon with a treating composition, said composition comprising an extract of a pine needle in a concentration of 1% to 8% by weight of the Textile Product; wherein the said Textile Product has anti-microbial, anti-odor, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, insect repellent, aromatic and an additive binding properties, and optionally an additive. The additive is selected from a group comprising of a herbal extract having insect & moth repellent properties; a herbal extract having medicinal properties; a piezoelectric effect mineral powder; a natural aroma and fragrance; natural dye, synthetic/chemical dye.
PROCESS FOR TREATING OF THREADS
The present invention provides a rapid and highly efficient process for treating textile threads, especially dyeing, and treated threads obtained thereby of textile threads.
Methods, processes, and apparatuses for producing welded substrates
A welded yarn may have a cross section about a plane that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the welded yarn wherein the cross-sectional area is comprised of two or more distinct portions, wherein the degree of welding in each portion is different, which may also result in different fiber volume ratios compared to raw yarn substrates.
ANTIMICROBIAL FABRIC TREATMENT
A method of treating a fabric including contacting the fabric with an aqueous liquor comprising a bispyridinium alkane antimicrobial active wherein the aqueous liquor is substantially free of anionic surfactant.
PERFUME PRECURSOR
A fragrance precursor represented by formula (1):
##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 12, a hydroxy group, a methoxy group or an ethoxy group R.sup.2 represents a single bond, an alkylene group having a carbon number of 1 to 2, which may have a substituent, or a vinylene group which may have a substituent; and R.sup.3 represents a residue resulting from removal of one hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group from a fragrance alcohol having a carbon number of 5 to 20 or a phenol which may have a substituent.
SURFACE MODIFIED MICROCAPSULES
A method of preparing a microcapsule composition include the steps of: (a) providing a microcapsule formed of an encapsulating polymer having a primary or secondary amine group, (b) providing a deposition agent having a reactive group, and (c) forming a covalent bond between the primary or secondary amine group and the reactive group to graft the deposition agent to the encapsulating polymer. Also disclosed are consumer products containing these microcapsules.
GARMENT MULTILAYERED-LINING SEWING PROCESS
This disclosure relates to a sewing process of a breathable, reusable, and leak-proof garment multilayered-lining having absorbent, antimicrobial, waterproofing, and steam dispersion functions. Such lining aims at preventing body fluids such as sweat, blood, vaginal fluids, menstrual fluid, urine, breast milk, or post-surgical fluids from leaking. Such a lining provides the absorbent, antimicrobial, waterproofing, and steam dispersion functions. The lining may be sewed or adhered to the garment piece including: men's and women's underwear, shorts, short pants, skirts, pants, bras, shirts, T-shirts, jumpsuits, body shapers, dresses, men's and women's nightwear, etc. The sewing process creates channels for the liquid and creates a non-linear U-shaped structure on the lining to prevent leakage from the sides. The disclosed lining also has a reduced number of layers on its sides due to one of its layers being smaller in width than the other layers, making the coating thinner for the wearer.
Antipathogenic face mask
Described herein is an antiviral face mask and methods of use thereof to inactivate a virus in contact with the face mask. The face mask may include a fibrous material with silicon nitride powder impregnated therein and a layer surrounding the fibrous material. In some embodiments, silicon nitride is present in the fibrous material at a concentration of about 1 wt. % to about 15 wt. %.
Laundry scent additive
A laundry scent additive having polyethylene glycol and perfume. The laundry scent additive enables consumers to control the amount of scent imparted to their laundry.
