The sharply protruding portion being passed through the clothing from the front side to the rear side of the one-side clothing fastening section and then from the front side to the rear side of the other-side clothing fastening section.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED OBJECT LEVELING
The present disclosure comprises an object straightener device sized and configured to be attached to the backside, bottom of an object, on the one hand, and attached to the wall that is holding the object, on the other hand. By attaching the object portion of the straightener device to the back of the object, and the wall portion of the straightener device to the wall, once the object is hung, and the desired position is attained, the object can be pressed against the wall, thereby bringing the wall portion and the object portion of the object straightener device into contact with each other and holding the object in the level position. The wall portion and the object portion can be detached from each other to reposition the object and then again attached to each other to hold the object in the newly desired position. Once implemented, the object straightener device will be hidden from the front, when the object is being viewed.
Fire-retardant and low-fuming molded hook fastener
The present invention relates to a molded hook fastener having excellent fire retardancy and low fuming property, and having a substrate and a large number of engaging elements projecting from a surface of the substrate, wherein both the substrate and the engaging elements contain a resin composition in which a polyester-based elastomer resin (A) and a polyetherimide-based resin (B) are mixed with a weight ratio (A)/(B) in a range of 2/98 to 70/30.
Strap tightener assembly for an orthopedic device
A strap tightener assembly has a base, a tightening device mounted on the base and movable relative thereto, and a strap assembly coupled to the tightening device. The tightening device provides incremental movement of the strap assembly relative to the base at a plurality of predefined settings. A cover extends over the strap assembly and connects to the base so that the base and the cover form a channel permitting movement of the strap assembly therethrough. The cover defines an elongate slot extending along a portion of a length of the cover, and the strap assembly has an indicator identifying the relative location of the strap assembly to the cover. A strap is securable to the strap assembly.
Wrist brace for protecting integrity of the carpal tunnel
A wrist brace for providing temporary comfort to sufferers of wrist pain. The wrist brace ovates the carpal tunnel through a pair of crisscrossing guylines each independently anchored on a wrist strap. One guyline hooks to the pinky finger and the other guyline hooks to the thumb. The guylines overlap at an X that is offset from the wrist strap over the palm. The anchor points of the guylines can be independently moved to change the tensions there along. The guylines can be used in conjunction with popular wrist-worn devices and jewelry or a dedicated wrist strap fitted with a hook-and-loop faster system.
Method of assembling at least two units, and a corresponding assembled structure
A method wherein a first unit (10) is provided having a field of grip elements (12), and a second unit (20) provided with retention elements (22) suitable for co-operating with the grip elements (12) of the first unit (10) in order to provide a self-gripping fastening. The first and second units are put into contact in such a manner that the grip elements (12) of the first unit and the retention elements (22) of the second unit provide a self-gripping fastening (F). A treatment zone of the self-gripping fastening is treated in order to deform the grip elements (12) of the first unit (10) and/or the retention elements (22) of the second unit (20), whereby the first and second units (10, 20) are permanently secured to each other, thereby forming an assembled structure.
Device and method for axial fixation of elements
An assembly for axial fixation of at least one element having an opening formed therein to an article. The assembly includes an anchoring protrusion attached to the article, which includes a distal end and a neck portion, and at least one locking component having a bore disposed therein, the locking component having at least a portion which is at least one of flexible and elastic. The anchoring protrusion extends through the opening in the element and through the bore of the locking component. An overlap region between the opening of the element and the bore of the locking component, is substantially equal to the diameter of the neck portion, such that the element and the at least a portion of the locking component form a locking unit.
Cable brace bracket, system, and method of cable bracing
Cable brace brackets and a system for bracing are provided. The cable brace bracket includes two hooks of different sizes and having a bracket angle between them that is less than 90. The system using to cable brace brackets connected with a cable. One hook of each bracket is held against a surface using a threaded rod through the surface, and the other hook is interlocked with loops at the end of the cable.
