Fastening system and method of manufacturing thereof
10561206 · 2020-02-18 · ·

Disclosed is a fastening system for garments such as brassieres, and methods of manufacturing thereof, that places a female engaging device, such as an eye, in a cavity, thereby allowing a male engaging device, such as a hook, to engage with the female engaging device without adding bulk or depth to the fastening system. This provides a slim, comfortable and stylish fastener.

Fastener

A closure is shown and described, preferably for an orthosis, which has a belt assembly, having a first closure part (1) and a second closure part (21), which can be releasably connected to one another, wherein the first and the second closure parts (1, 21) have connecting means for belts of the belt assembly, wherein the first closure part (1) has a pin (3), wherein the second closure part (21) has a connection end (23) and a coupling end (25), and between the connection end (23) and the coupling end (25) a guide track (37) extending in a closure plane is provided, which extends from an entrance opening (41) to a guide track end (43), wherein the pin (3) has a first section (7) and a second section (9), wherein the dimensions of the first section (7) perpendicular to the direction of extension of the pin (3) correspond to the dimensions of the guide track (37) in the closure plane at the guide track end (43), and wherein the dimensions of the second section (9) perpendicular to the direction of extension of the pin (3) are greater than the dimensions of the guide track (37) at the guide track end (43), so that the second section (9) restricts a movement of the pin (3) relative to the second closure part (21) perpendicular to the closure plane.

FIRE-RETARDANT AND LOW-FUMING MOLDED HOOK FASTENER

The present invention relates to a molded hook fastener having excellent fire retardancy and low fuming property, and having a substrate and a large number of engaging elements projecting from a surface of the substrate, wherein both the substrate and the engaging elements contain a resin composition in which a polyester-based elastomer resin (A) and a polyetherimide-based resin (B) are mixed with a weight ratio (A)/(B) in a range of 2/98 to 70/30.

EYELETS

The present disclosure relates to an eyelet which is easily fastened and has a strong coupling force, and the eyelet of the present disclosure includes an eyelet base and an eyelet washer, wherein the eyelet base includes: a disk-shaped base part having a circular hollow hole formed at a center portion thereof; a cylindrical fastening part formed to extend from an inner circumference of the base part formed by the hollow hole to be orthogonal to the base part, and inserted into a circular hollow hole in a center portion of the eyelet washer to be fastened to the eyelet washer; and a fixing protrusion formed in a ring shape on an outer circumference of the fastening part to prevent separation of the eyelet washer from the fastening part.

Molded surface fastener and molded surface fastener manufacturing method

A molded surface fastener has engagement regions in which engaging elements are disposed in an erect manner and space regions with no engaging elements, the engagement regions and the space regions alternating in the longitudinal direction. Each space region has a pair of left and right vertical wall portions that are disposed on a substrate portion in an erect manner and a convex rib portion that protrudes from the center of the substrate portion in the width direction, and the convex rib portion is integrally connected to a main lateral wall portion disposed in the width direction of the engagement region. By implementing a simple cutting process, this molded surface fastener can be easily adapted to usages in which the fastener has to be in a curved shape bending in the width direction.

Slide-on anchor point

The present disclosure is directed to a slip-on device for creating a safety strap anchor point on a hand tool or other object. The invention comprises a pliable core that is captured by a wheel made of a rigid material. The core has a star-shaped, or other shaped opening, configured to accept an object. The inserted object is compressed against the features of the opening, and the pliable core is thus compressed against the rigid wheel, allowing a firm anchor point to be established. A loop member is rotationally attached to the rigid wheel to provide a location to attach a safety strap by carabineer or other method.

SWIVEL FOR USE IN A FISHING RIG
20200000072 · 2020-01-02 ·

A fishing tackle device for use in making a dead bait fishing rig includes first and second eyelets rotatably connected to opposite ends of a central barrel member and each of the eyelets and the central barrel member being cooperatively structured and disposed to allow each of the eyelets to spin independently of the central barrel member and one another. At least one of the eyelets includes a coating material applied thereto and forming a membrane that closes the eyelet. In at least one embodiment, the coating material includes a rubberized composition. The formed membrane is adapted for punctured passage of a pointed end and barb of a fishing hook therethrough while the membrane remains in frictional engagement with the shank of the hook. The opposite eyelet may allow for attachment of rigging wire thereto.
