A connector for a flexible substrate includes a first connector piece including a first plurality of through holes, a second connector piece including a second plurality of through holes, the second connector piece disposable in opposition to the first connector piece to align the first plurality of through holes and the second plurality of through holes to define, via the first plurality of through holes and the second plurality of through holes, a grommet, a plurality of first fastener receivers and a plurality of second fastener receivers and a channel, defined at least in part by the first connector piece, extending across the first connector piece. The plurality of first fastener receivers are disposed on a first side of the channel and the plurality of second fastener receivers are disposed on a second side of the channel, the first side of the channel corresponds to a position at which a flexible substrate is disposable between the first connector piece and the second connector piece, and the second side of the channel corresponds to a position at which a flexible substrate is not disposed between the first connector piece and the second connector piece.

A dog toy assembly includes an elongated stick with a toy attachment on an end. A toy is attached to the toy attachment. By holding and manipulating the stick during play, a user obtains leverage to accurately and quickly control the toy. The toy attachment may be removably attached to the stick, may be rotatable, and may include loops, hooks, concave sections, and rings. A locking sleeve may be included to keep the toy attached. The stick may include a handle and may be flexible. A leg strap including an eyelet through which the stick passes may be worn by the user to provide a pivot point and allow one-handed play while seated. A cord lock includes a female member having a first opening, a second opening, and an insertion passage for a string; and a male member entering one portion into the insertion passage from the first opening, and having, at the one portion, a male-side fastening portion to be fastened to the string inserted to pass through the insertion passage in cooperation with a female-side fastening portion formed inside the insertion passage. Fastening relative to the string is released by a pulling operation of reducing an entering amount of one portion of the male member into the insertion passage relative to the female member by gripping the string pulled out of the first opening, and by a pulling operation of reducing an entering amount of one portion of the male member into the insertion passage relative to the male member by gripping the string pulled out of the second opening.

A load sharing snap-linkable safety rigging plate preferably includes a rigging body, a first gate, a second gate, two first pivoting locks and two second pivoting locks. The rigging body includes a base portion, a first open gate loop and a second open gate loop. A plurality of openings are formed through the base portion. The first and second gates are pivotally engaged with first and second ends of the base portion. The second gate is pivotally engaged with a second end of the base portion and an opposing end is retained by an end of the second open gate loop. The first two pivoting locks are pivotally retained on a first end of the base portion to prevent the first gate from opening. The second two pivoting locks are pivotally retained on a second end of the base portion to prevent the second gate from opening.

A connecting part (3) is formed by injection moulding. A closure part (11) forms a component of an adhesive closure having adhesive or hooking elements and is introducable as an insert part into an injection mould. In a back-injection process, the connecting part (3) forms a structural part containing the closure part (11) as an integral component.

A method of storing a hard hat tether attached to a hard hat includes the steps of providing a hard hat; providing a clip holder having a latch plate with a latch opening that defines at least one attachment handle; providing a clip member defining a tether opening and having a locking mechanism constructed to removably secure the clip member to the clip holder by capturing the attachment handle; providing a hard hat tether having a first tether end portion secured to the clip member by extending through the tether opening of the clip member, a second tether end portion, and a tether body portion secured to the clip holder; securing the second tether end portion to the hard hat; and attaching the clip member to the attachment handle of the clip holder, thereby storing the clip member.

A method of storing a hard hat tether attached to a hard hat includes the steps of providing a hard hat; providing a clip holder having a latch plate with a latch opening that defines at least one attachment handle; providing a clip member defining a tether opening and having a locking mechanism constructed to removably secure the clip member to the clip holder by capturing the attachment handle; providing a hard hat tether having a first tether end portion secured to the clip member by extending through the tether opening of the clip member, a second tether end portion, and a tether body portion secured to the clip holder; securing the second tether end portion to the hard hat; and attaching the clip member to the attachment handle of the clip holder, thereby storing the clip member.

An improved ornament-hanging hook and system includes an ornament-hanging apparatus and one or more ornament-hanging hooks, wherein each of the one or more ornament-hanging hooks includes an ornament-engaging loop, a first engagement-element for engaging a tree branch or other hanging structure, and a second engagement element disposed between the ornament-engaging loop and the first engagement-element for contact with the ornament-hanging apparatus during hanging. The second engagement-element has a second bend having a plurality of flections, wherein a portion of the second bend forms a fulcrum. Upon engagement with the ornament-hanging apparatus at the fulcrum, an ornament attached at the ornament-engaging loop is balanced gravitationally such that the first-engagement element is positioned upright and in an unobstructed manner.

A device for connecting a lure to a fishing line, the device includes a main shaft having a line attachment end and a lure holding end. A line holding element is provided at the line attachment end and a lure holding loop is provided at the lure holding end. The device further includes various other components to improve lure retention without impairing lure movement. These other components include one or more from the group of a retaining loop, three or more resistance points, a zigzag structure and a reverse direction terminating segment.
