The coating contains at least one binding agent for the at least one indigoid dye such that the at least one indigoid dye is released in an aqueous solution with a temperature equal to or greater than 20 C. that is, the coating is soluble, at least in part from the flat, cloth-like carrier material, which is added to the textile material to be dyed or whose dyeing is to be refreshed in a washing process.
Stabilization of sodium dithionite by means of various additives
The present invention relates to a method for reducing or preventing the decomposition of a composition Z comprising Z1 a salt of dithionous acid in an amount ranging from 50 to 100 wt % and optionally Z2 an additive selected from the group consisting of alkali metal carbonate, alkaline earth metal carbonate, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal tripolyphosphate (Na.sub.5P.sub.3O.sub.10), alkali metal or alkaline earth metal sulfite, disulfite or sulfate, dextrose and complexing agents in a combined amount ranging from 0.0001 to 40 wt %, which comprises contacting the components Z1 and optionally Z2 in the solid and/or dry or solvent-dissolved or -suspended state with at least one of the following compounds V in the solid and/or dry or solvent-dissolved or -suspended state, wherein the compounds V are selected from the group consisting of: (a) oxides of the alkali metals lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, or of magnesium, (b) sodium tetrahydroborate (NaBH.sub.4), (c) anhydrous copper(II) sulfate (Cu(SO.sub.4)), phosphorus pentoxide and (d) basic amino acids arginine, lysine, histidine, wherein the solvent for Z1, optionally Z2 and V is practically water-free.
DYE COMPOSITION AND DYEING METHOD FOR ELASTIC FABRIC
A dye composition and a dyeing method for an elastic fabric are provided. The dyeing method includes: (a) providing an elastic fabric which includes an elastic fiber; and (b) immersing the elastic fabric in a dye composition. The dye composition includes an ion modifier and a dye. The elastic fiber of the elastic fabric has a first ion by contacting the ion modifier, and the first ion has a first charge; the dye has a second ion, and the second ion has a second charge opposite to the first charge. The first ion of the elastic fiber and the second ion of the dye together form an iconic bonding.
Method to produce a dye for fabrics starting from textile waste material, method to dye fabrics
A method to produce a dye, which is suited to be applied on fabrics, starts from textile waste material. The method includes an initial step, during which textile waste material is provided, which includes textile fibers, which were previously dyed. In a pulverization step, the textile fibers are pulverized to obtain the dye.
METHODS FOR TEXTILE TREATMENT
There is disclosed a method of coating textile fibers, the method comprising applying, on the external surface of textile fibers, a pre-treated oil-in-water emulsion comprising: (i) an aqueous phase containing water; and (ii) a pre-treated oil phase containing at least one reactive condensation-curable film-forming amino-silicone pre-polymer that, subsequent to condensation curing optionally in presence of additional reactants, forms an amino-silicone coat. The pre-treated reactive oil phase includes at least one pre-treated reactant or pre-treated pre-polymer. An aqueous dispersion containing particles of a hydrophilic polymeric material is then applied to the amino-silicone coat, so as to form a polymeric layer thereon. At least one of the oil-in-water emulsion forming a first coat and of the aqueous dispersion forming a second coat may further contain a plurality of sub-micronic pigment particles dispersed therein. Suitable compositions and kits including the same are also disclosed, as well as fibers coated thereby.
LEUCO POLYMERS AS BLUING AGENTS IN LAUNDRY CARE COMPOSITIONS
A leuco polymer includes a leuco monomer and an alkene. The leuco polymer has a molecular weight of at least 500 and is obtainable by polymerization of the leuco monomer and one or more alkene co-monomers. The leuco monomer consists of an alkene covalently bound to a leuco moiety and the leuco monomer has a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750 nm of less than 1000 M.sup.1cm.sup.1. The alkene monomer(s) have a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750 nm that is less than 100 M.sup.1cm.sup.1. Methods of making the leuco polymer, laundry care compositions comprising the leuco polymer and methods of treating textiles with such laundry care compositions.
Luminophore coating
The invention relates to stabilized luminophores and in particular to the use thereof in and on textile goods.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYEING GARMENTS
Described herein are apparatuses and methods for dyeing garments. An exemplary apparatus comprises a dye injection system configured to dispense concentrated liquid dye; a dyeing machine comprising a dyeing chamber configured for dyeing at least one garment in a dyebath; and a controller in communication with the dye injection system and the dyeing machine, wherein the controller is configured: to receive at least one garment parameter corresponding to the at least one garment; based at least in part on the at least one received garment parameter, cause the dye injection system to dispense a volume of concentrated liquid dye containing an amount of dyestuff that can be substantially absorbed by the at least one garment; and cause the dyeing machine to execute a dye cycle such that substantially all of the dyestuff in the dispensed concentrated liquid dye is absorbed by the at least one garment within the dyeing chamber.
