The present invention provides a herbal composition for treating a fabric to make the fabric insect repellent. The present invention further provides a composition for treating a fabric and a method of treating the fabric to make the fabric insect repellent. The invention also provides the various methods of treating different kinds of fabrics along with their dyeing and finishing processes to render the fabric insect repellant. The fabric becomes insect repellant up to 40 washes. The fabric becomes repellent against bed bugs of Cimex species, house dust mites of Dermatophagoides species, ticks of Ixodes species, houseflies or Musca Domestica, mosquitoes or Aedes Aegypti and harvest bugs of Trombidium species. The fabric is selected from the group consisting of a cotton fabric, a regenerated viscose cellulose fabric, a wool fabric, a silk fabric, a polyester fabric and blends thereof.

Method for manufacturing standard carbon black soiled fabrics

The application relates to the production of a soiled fabric, and more particularly to a method of manufacturing a standard carbon black soiled fabric for performance testing of washing machines. Water is adopted herein as the solvent to prepare a soil, which renders this method safe, environmentally friendly and economical. Moreover, this method introduces a fully-automatic continuous rolling-suction tentering and setting machine to control the pressure of the padder, the drying temperature, the air volume of the fan and the speed of chains, which reduces the manual intervention, achieving a highly-automatic printing and dyeing process. The reflectivity at four points on both sides of the standard carbon black soiled fabric according to the invention is 95% or more.

Spinning, cheese dyeing, knitting and weaving process of a high performance flame-resistant modacrylic/cotton safety apparel fabric

The present invention relates to flame retardant fabrics and safety apparel, especially yarn used for high flame resistant safety apparel fabric wherein the yarn uses a cheese method and the yarn is used to weave fabric. The fabric as described contains at least 60% high flame resistant modacrylic fiber which after cheese dyeing is woven into fabric. The safety apparel that use this fabric will not continue to burn after leaving a fire, will not melt or cause the wearer secondary injury and complies with the relevant standards of the European Union, the United States and China.

An activated cotton material and a method for processing cotton to form the activated cotton material are provided. The activated cotton material includes a layer of natural wax that is locked to the surface of cotton fibers by a wax lock.

DYE SUBLIMATION INKJET INK SET

An example dye sublimation inkjet ink set includes a first dye sublimation inkjet ink and a second dye sublimation inkjet ink. The first dye sublimation inkjet ink includes a disperse dye colorant dispersion including a first disperse dye having absorption at a radiation wavelength ranging from about 360 nm to about 410 nm; an additive to absorb energy at the radiation wavelength ranging from about 360 nm to about 410 nm and to dissipate at least some of the absorbed energy as fluorescence; a co-solvent; and a balance of water. The additive is selected from the group consisting of a compound containing from 3 to 5 fused benzene rings and and a coumarin derivative. The second dye sublimation inkjet ink includes a disperse dye colorant dispersion including a second disperse dye having less absorption at the radiation wavelength than the first disperse dye; a co-solvent; and a balance of water.

Dye composition and dyeing method for elastic fabric

A dye composition and a dyeing method for an elastic fabric are provided. The dyeing method includes: (a) providing an elastic fabric which includes an elastic fiber; and (b) immersing the elastic fabric in a dye composition. The dye composition includes an ion modifier and a dye. The elastic fiber of the elastic fabric has a first ion by contacting the ion modifier, and the first ion has a first charge; the dye has a second ion, and the second ion has a second charge opposite to the first charge. The first ion of the elastic fiber and the second ion of the dye together form an ionic bonding.
