IN-LINE DIGITAL PRINTING SYSTEM FOR TEXTILE MATERIALS
Compositions for and methods of digitally printing an ink image onto a woven textile material are provided. A base application is applied to the surface of a woven textile material, especially one comprising synthetic resin fibers prior to application of an ink image layer. The base application comprises an acrylic latex material that is formulated to be printed on with a digital ink while still wet, thereby eliminating the need for an intermediate drying cycle in between base application deposit and printing of the ink image.

TEXTILE MATERIALS CONTAINING DYED POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE FIBERS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A textile material comprises a plurality of dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprising a disperse dye that is distributed substantially evenly across the cross-sectional area of the fibers. A method for dyeing polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprises the steps of (a) providing a textile material comprising polyphenylene sulfide fiber, (b) providing a dye liquor comprising a liquid medium and a disperse dye, (c) applying the dye liquor to the textile material, (d) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature sufficient to evaporate substantially all of the liquid medium from the textile material, and (e) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature of about 180 C. or more to fix the disperse dye to the polyphenylene sulfide fibers.
Method for treating the surface of shaped parts
A method is provided for treating the surface of a shaped melded part produced with a plastic having ester, ketone and/or ether bonds. The plastic is selected from the group including a polymer, copolymer, polymer blend and combinations of the same. The method includes a pretreatment step for cationically modifying the surface of the melded shaped part. The cationic modification is carried out with a reactant dissolved in a solvent and having one or more amine, imine and/or amide groups.
Method for manufacturing fastener stringer
A method for manufacturing a fastener stringer according to the present invention, include a dyeing step for dyeing a fastener stringer including an element row fixed to a side edge portion of a tape made of fiber, a dye cleaning step for removing excess dye from the fastener stringer, a water repellent treatment step for adhering a non-fluorine-based water repellent agent to the fastener stringer, and a pre-dyeing degreasing step for degreasing oil and fat adhered to the fastener stringer by a wet process.
COMPOSITE STRUCTURE HAVING MODIFIER MATERIAL PRINTED THEREON
A composite fiber may include at least one reinforcing filament formed of a first material. A second material maybe systematically deposited in a printed onto the at least one reinforcing filament such that at least one of a length, a width, and a thickness of the second material varies across a surface of the at least one reinforcing filament. The printed pattern may alter one or more properties of a composite structure containing the composite fiber.
