Abrasion resistant fabric

The invention relates to a woven fabric comprising a weft yarn, an outer layer with warp yarn A and an inner outer layer with warp yarn B, wherein the weft yarn comprises a combination of individual yarns comprising UHMWPE yarns and individual natural yarns, the warp yarn A comprises at least 50 wt % of a natural fiber, and warp yarn B comprises a combination of individual UHMWPE yarns and individual natural yarns, and said outside and inside layer being at least partially interconnected by the weft yarn. The invention also relates to products comprising said woven fabric such as clothing, lining, sport apparel, and gloves.

Polyethylene fiber, manufacturing method thereof, and manufacturing apparatus thereof

The present disclosure relates to a polyethylene fiber and a method for preparing thereof, and more particularly to a polyethylene fiber, a method for preparing thereof, and an apparatus for preparing thereof, which has excellent wearing and touch sensation with processing convenience into woven fabrics and knitted fabrics in use in applied products by reducing the stiffness of fiber having the same physical properties using an enforced necking method in a spinning process.

FABRIC WITH WOVEN INTEGRATED LIGHTING
20230265586 · 2023-08-24 ·

A woven textile has one or more weavable threads and at least one lighting filament in which the weavable threads and the at least one lighting filament are woven together to form a textile with integrally woven lighting.

A METHOD TO MAKE BICOMPONENT FIBERS AND ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAME
20230257909 · 2023-08-17 ·

The disclosure generally relates to bicomponent fibers, and more particularly, methods to make bicomponent fibers and articles comprising them, wherein a first extruded component has a moisture level less than a second extruded component. The bicomponent fibers may comprise polyesters and are useful in articles such as carpets and fabrics.

TEXTILE FABRIC-ELASTOMER COMPOSITE

Disclosed herein is a composite material that is formed from a textile substrate having a surface, the textile substrate formed from a yarn, where the yarn is formed from a plurality of fibres or filaments, such that the yarn has a core region of fibres or filaments surrounded by a peripheral region of fibres or filaments; and a cured elastomeric material layer laid over the whole or part of the textile substrate surface, where the cured elastomeric material penetrates into the yarn and is attached to the fibres or filaments in the peripheral region of the yarn.

ARTICLE OF APPAREL INCORPORATING A ZONED MODIFIABLE TEXTILE STRUCTURE
20220132960 · 2022-05-05 ·

An article of apparel is disclosed that includes zones with a textile having a structure than changes or is otherwise modified by a physical stimulus, such as the presence of water or a temperature change, to modify a property of the textile. The zones may be along a center back area and/or side areas of the apparel, and the textile may increase in air permeability when exposed to water. In some embodiments, slits are formed in the textile.

Base templates for many finishes by laser

Laser finishing of apparel products allows an operating model that reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduce product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Improved aspects include design, development, planning, merchandising, selling, making, and delivering. The model uses fabric templates, each of which can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

RECYCLABLE, ASYMMETRICAL-FACED COMPOSITE NONWOVEN TEXTILE HAVING VARIED DENIER
20220136157 · 2022-05-05 ·

Aspects herein are directed to a recyclable, asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile suitable for use in apparel and other articles and methods of making the same. In example aspects, the asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile includes a first face formed, at least in part from a first entangled web of fibers and an opposite second face formed, at least in part from a second entangled web of fibers. When incorporated into an article of apparel, the first face forms an outer-facing surface of the article of apparel, and the second face forms an inner-facing surface of the article of apparel. The first face includes features making it suitable to form the outer-facing surface such as resistance to abrasion, and the second face includes features making it suitable to form an inner-facing surface such as a soft hand.

SUSTAINABLE NONWOVEN TEXTILE
