LACROSSE HEAD POCKET AND RELATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20170340934 · 2017-11-30 ·

A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. The lacrosse pocket body can include one or more fused pocket areas. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.

INFLATABLE WATER-SPORTS BOARD WITH RAISED PROTRUSIONS ALONG ITS SIDES
20220306249 · 2022-09-29 ·

An inflatable water sports board has internal spacer threads separating upper and lower faces. The water sports board has side portions free of internal spacer threads. When the water sports board is inflated the side portions expand in a part-circular shape, forming ridges above and below the respective upper and lower faces.

System for manufacture of bulletproof components, sheets, and garments with high modulus strong fibers held in a polyamide matrix
11359314 · 2022-06-14 ·

A bulletproof garment fabric comprises parallel high strength fibers that are placed in layers. The layers are arranged in multiple orientations to resist bullet penetration stress and bonded to each other by precipitated ultrafine particles of nylon. The bonded high strength fibers resist the penetration load of a bullet and are thereby operative to prevent penetration of the bullet through the garment fabric. A porous nylon sheet is injection molded, and combined with strong fibrous materials having high modulus to form a layered sandwich that imparts strength and anti-ballistic properties to jackets, components and armor for vehicles and aircraft used in military applications.

YOGA MAT

A yoga mat is provided, including: a cushion body, including at least one first thread and at least one second thread, at least one functioned thread of the at least one first thread being woven by a plurality of filaments and at least one rubber filament, the at least one rubber filament being at least partially exposed on an outer surface of the at least one functioned thread.

3-DIMENSIONAL MANUFACTURE OF POROUS AND WATERPROOF MEMBRANE
20230243093 · 2023-08-03 ·

The disclosure relates to seamless manufacturing processes for 3-dimensional waterproof and breathable porous polymer membranes by spraying, dip-coating or painting a substrate with a dispersion having polymer, coated or non-coated particles and diluent and removing the particles by dissolution thus creating porosity after the 3D coating/shaping. The disclosure further relates to dispersions to obtain such membranes, to polymer membranes obtained, to shaped articles containing such membranes; to the use of such membranes, shaped articles and intermediates.

FLAME RETARDANT MATERIALS

The invention provides a flame retardant material comprising a substrate, an optionally corona-treated coating on the substrate, the coating comprising a polyolefin composition comprising a) an ethylene based plastomer with a density in the range of 0.857 to 0.915 g/cm.sup.3 and an MFR.sub.2 in the range 0.5-30 g/10 min; b) a propylene based plastomer with a density in the range of 0.860 to 0.910 g/cm.sup.3 and an MFR.sub.2 in the range 0.01-30 g/10 min; and c) a flame retardant, a primer layer on top of the coating and a lacquer topcoat.

Lacrosse Stick and Substrate for Pocket
20220023728 · 2022-01-27 ·

A substrate is mountable on a lacrosse stick head to form a pocket. The head has a throat attached to a shaft, a ball stop attached to the throat, a scoop distal to the throat, and sidewalls extending between the ball stop and the scoop. The substrate includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is positioned proximate to the scoop and the bottom portion is positioned between the top and the ball stop. The top and bottom portions include yarn knit to form the substrate. A method of making the substrate includes casting the yarn onto a needle, knitting the top and bottom portions, casting the yarn off the needle, tying off the yarn and attaching the substrate to the head.
