ADHESIVE FASTENER AND DIAPER HAVING SUCH AN ADHESIVE FASTENER
1. Adhesive fastener and diaper having such an adhesive fastener. 2. An adhesive fastener, consisting of at least one plastic material, having a plurality of hook means which are integrally connected to a substrate (10), each in the form of a stalk part (14) which is provided with a head part (12) and which protrudes above the substrate (10), is characterized in that at least a portion of the plastic material used is biodegradable and/or is bio-based.
Heat-fusible textile hook-and-loop fastener
The present invention relates to a heat-fusible woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener including a woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener obtained by using a weft yarn in which a sheath component is a polyester-based hot melt resin (B) and a heat-fusible resin layer formed of a polyester-based hot melt resin (A) formed on the back surface of the woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener, wherein the heat-fusible resin layer is fused to a warp yarn only, and the melting point of the polyester-based hot melt resin (B) is higher than the melting point of the polyester-based hot melt resin (A) by 50 to 110° C. The heat-fusible woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener has excellent flexibility before being fused to an adherend, can be firmly fused and fixed to an adherend such as a fabric or a soft vinyl chloride sheet, and has excellent flexibility and high engagement force even after being fused and fixed.
Fastening tape with flexibility in the longitudinal direction and associated methods
A fastening tape having flexibility in a longitudinal direction of the fastening tape. The fastening tape includes a plurality of fasteners, a support, and magnetic material positioned on the support. The support defines a plurality of plateaus and a plurality of valleys. The magnetic material is positioned on at least a portion of one of the plurality of plateaus or the plurality of valleys of the support such that a height of the magnetic material varies in the longitudinal direction. Because the height of the magnetic material varies, the fastening tape is more flexible in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, the fastening tape is also flexible in the lateral direction.
DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES EMPLOYING A LIVING HINGE
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.
Surface Fastener
Provided is a surface fastener in which a decrease in engagement strength can be suppressed when a masking member is peeled off. This surface fastener includes a fastener member and a masking member. The fastener member includes a base portion and a plurality of engaging elements. The masking member covers at least a part of the engaging elements. At least one recess portion is provided on a masking outer surface of the masking member.
MOLD-IN FASTENERS
A mold in fastener product includes a flexible substrate, such as a resin film or textile sheet, and a resin layer covering only part of one side of the flexible substrate and leaving a region of the one side of the flexible substrate exposed, the resin layer carrying multiple touch fastener elements each having a resin stem extending integrally from the layer away from the flexible substrate to an engageable head. A flexible ferromagnetic strip is bonded to the flexible substrate and at least partially bounds a bounded portion of the flexible substrate containing at least some of the touch fastener elements and at least a part of the exposed region. The product is preferably wide, such as to cover a wide concave region of a foam seat cushion.
MOULDING APPARATUS FOR FORMING A FASTENING DEVICE
A molding apparatus (10) for forming a retaining device. The molding apparatus (10) comprises a molding strip (12) and a molding support (24). The molding strip (12) has an inside face (14), an outside face (16), and a plurality of through cavities (18) extending from the outside face (16) to the inside face (14), the molding strip (12) extending in a longitudinal direction (X) and presenting both a transverse direction (Y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X), and also a height direction (Z) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X) and to the transverse direction (Y). The inside face (14) is configured to press against a molding face (26) of the molding support (24), wherein the inside face (14) of the molding strip (12) and/or the molding face (26) of the molding support (24) includes an array of passages, the array of passages forming vents and connecting together the cavities (18) when the molding strip (12) is pressed against the molding support (24).
MOLDED SURFACE FASTENER
A vehicle cover assembly comprising; a flexible cover; one or more side rails; and a fastener assembly that is secured to a vehicle bed comprising; a cover fastener that is on one or more edge regions of the flexible cover; and a side rail fastener with one or more rows of fasteners comprising; a plurality of dual hooks on the base that releasably connect with the cover fastener of the flexible cover; and a plurality of spacers between the plurality of dual hooks.
Fastening systems comprising nonwoven substrates with hooks formed integrally thereon
A wearable article includes hook-and-loop fastening components. The hook-and-loop fastening components have a section of nonwoven web material on which an array of hooks is formed. At least some of the hooks may be integrally formed from the nonwoven material. The section of nonwoven web material may also include a section of loops material, wherein at least some of the loops may be integrally formed from the web material. The section of loops material may have a machine direction dimension of at least 20 mm and a cross direction dimension of at least 20 mm, and a surface area of at least 314 mm.sup.2.
