Yarn, detection system, fiber sheet, connector, detection device, and liquid type estimation method
A yarn has a first conductive yarn having conductivity, a first insulating section covering the first conductive yarn and formed of an insulating material having absorbency, and a second conductive yarn having conductivity and disposed on an outer circumferential side of the first insulating section.
Thermally and dimensionally stabilized compositions and methods of making same
Thermally stable absorbable fiber populations, i.e. fiber populations that do not undergo thermally induced crystallization, can be intermixed with thermally unstable fibers to yield a stabilizing effect without altering morphological properties of a fiber system. Via this, one may minimize thermally induced shrinkage and maintain physical properties of electrospun materials in the as-formed state.
Fabric-based items with stretchable bands
A fabric-based item may be provide with a stretchable band. The stretchable band may be formed from a ring-shaped strip of stretchable fabric having an opening configured to fit around a body part of a user. Circuitry may be coupled to strands of material in the stretchable band. The circuitry may include sensor circuitry for making measurements on the body part such as electrocardiogram measurements, blood pressure measurements, and respiration rate measurements. Wireless communications circuitry in the fabric-based item may be used to communicate wirelessly with external electronic equipment. A wireless power transmitting device may transmit wireless power. A coil formed from conductive strands in the fabric-based item may be used by wireless power receiving circuitry in the fabric-based item to receive the wireless power. The coil may have one or more turns that run around the ring-shaped strip of stretchable fabric.
NATURAL COMPOSITION BASED ON POLYMERS TO BE ELECTROSPUN, AND METHOD TO PREPARE THE SAME
The invention concerns a composition to be electrospun comprising a first compound to be electrospun, an electrospinning promoter and at least one active ingredient, as well as a method to prepare it. This composition allows to obtain electrospun nanometric fibers with good structural and absorption properties.
Multicompartement hydrogel fibre their preparation and uses thereof
The present disclosure relates to a hydrogel fibre comprising an ionic hydrogel and a second component in a plurality of compartments, wherein the second component is selected from a second hydrogel, a hydrophilic solution, or a mixture thereof. It is also disclosed the method to obtain the aforesaid hydrogel fibres. This disclosure also relates to a composition comprising the hydrogel fibres and a suitable carrier, and an article/kit, a bundle, a mesh or a membrane comprising the hydrogel fibre. A composition comprising an ionic hydrogel and a second component for use in medicine administered in a hydrogel fibre comprising a plurality of compartments is also disclosed.
Elastomeric Laminate
Methods and (articles of manufacture therefrom) including forming an elastic film from a polymer composition; tensioning the elastic film to a stretch ratio of between 2 and 6 in the MD; laminating the elastic film to an extensible facing to provide an elastomeric laminate having a CD hysteresis loss of 70% or less and an MD hysteresis loss of 50% or less.
COMPOSITION FOR ELECTROSPINNING
The invention concerns a composition to be electrospun, which comprises a first compound to be electrospun and an electrospinning promoter, the function of which is to facilitate the electrospinning of the first compound, in particular to establish the electrospinning method in order to obtain regular fibers. A method to prepare the composition is also described, which provides a step of mixing a first compound to be electrospun with an electrospinning promoter.
Cellulite diminishing fabric
Disclosed is a fabric having a first side and a second side, that is provided at least on part of the first side with a pattern of protrusions, wherein the protrusions comprise an expanded heat-expanding material, namely a heat-expanding material that has been expanded by heating. A polymeric layer is provided to the woven fabric to coat at least part of the protrusions. Also disclosed is a process for the production of the fabric and a garment comprising the fabric.
METHOD OF ELECTROSPINNING NATURAL POLYMERS
The electrospinning method comprises the steps of providing a composition to be electrospun; providing an electrospinning device comprising an electrospinning head and a collector; applying an electric field between the electrospinning head and the collector; and feeding the composition to be electrospun through the electrospinning head, so that the electric field applied induces the formation of an electrospun fiber.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A NONWOVEN ITEM, NONWOVEN ITEM AND HYGIENE ARTICLE
A method for producing a nonwoven element particularly for hygiene products, has at least the following steps: forming a fibrous web sheet with a width direction extending transverse to the production direction and a thickness direction perpendicular thereto by supplying staple fibers from at least a first group which are formed from a thermoplastic material, consolidating the fibrous web sheet to form a nonwoven web by heating exclusively a first side of the fibrous web sheet through contact with a heated surface such that the staple fibers of the first group are partially melted, and cooling the nonwoven web.
