Sheet manufacturing apparatus and sheet manufacturing method
A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a defibrating unit configures to defibrate a raw material containing fiber into a defibrated material; a screening unit configured to screen the defibrated material that is defibrated by the defibrating unit; a web forming unit configured to form a web on which the defibrated material screened by the screening unit is deposited; a rotary body that includes a protrusion unit for forming a subdivided body by dividing the web formed by the web forming unit; a deposition unit configures to deposit the defibrated material configuring the subdivided body; and a forming unit configured to form the sheet by pressurizing and heating the defibrated material deposited by the deposition unit.
SUPPORTING MECHANISM FOR A PAPERMAKING MACHINE DEWATERING BLADE
A pneumatically actuated doctoring device for paper machine de-watering/paper forming is provided having a base member supported on a papermaking machine structure, and a blade support with a fabric contact element. A single pneumatic air tube having first and second attachments on opposing sides is also provided. The first attachment engages the base member and the second attachment engages the blade support. The tube is configured for connection to a pressurized air source and a vacuum source to extend or retract the blade support. A linkage arrangement is connected between the blade support and the base member and includes first and second links located between the base member and the support member. The links each have a pivotal connection to the base member and provide for a fixed orientation of the blade support relative to the base member as the pneumatic air tube extends or retracts the blade support.
SHEET MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND SHEET MANUFACTURING METHOD
A sheet manufacturing apparatus has a manufacturing unit that makes a sheet; and a plurality of supply units that supply loaded feedstock to the manufacturing unit; and the feedstocks supplied from the plural supply units are conveyed overlapping each other.
ULTRASONIC WELDING OF WET LAID NONWOVEN COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to ultrasonic welding of compositions, and wet laid articles made from the compositions, containing cellulose fibers and cellulose ester fibers, as well as wet laid processes using the compositions. More specifically, the present invention relates to a wet laid nonwoven comprising cellulose and cellulose ester fibers. The wet laid nonwoven is bonded to itself and/or to other substrates, and this bonding is accomplished at least in part by ultrasonic welding.
Method for preparing a membrane from fibril cellulose and fibril, cellulose membrane
Method for preparing a membrane from fibril cellulose includes supplying fibril cellulose dispersion on a filter layer, draining liquid from a fibril cellulose dispersion by the effect of reduced pressure through the filter layer that is impermeable to fibrils of the fibril cellulose but permeable to the liquid to form a membrane sheet on the filter fabric, applying heat on the opposite side of the membrane sheet to the membrane sheet while continuing draining of the liquid through the filter layer by pressure difference over the filter layer, and removing the membrane sheet from the filter layer as a freestanding membrane.

METHOD OF MAKING A MOLDED PAPER WEB
A method of making a molded paper web. The method includes forming a nascent web from an aqueous solution of papermaking fibers, moving a dewatered web on a transfer surface, and applying a vacuum at a molding zone defined between the transfer surface and a molding roll. The molding roll includes a permeable patterned surface on an exterior of the molding roll. The method also includes transferring the dewatered web from the transfer surface to the permeable patterned surface at the molding zone. The vacuum is applied during the transferring of the dewatered web, and the papermaking fibers of the dewatered web are (i) redistributed on the permeable patterned surface and (ii) drawn into a plurality of recess of the permeable patterned surface, in order to form the molded paper web.
Collection device, collection method, and fibrous feedstock recycling device
Technology improving the effect of cleaning a filter by a high pressure air current is provided. A first dust collector 27 has a housing into which a gas carrying capture material is carried; a filter 240 having a filter element 305 that captures the capture material, and an opening 305b from which air passing through the filter element 305 flows out; and an injector having a nozzle with an injection opening that injects a gas, moves the nozzle to a position in contact with the opening, and injects the gas from the injection opening 305b when the nozzle is in contact with the opening 305b.
FIBER STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING APPARATUS, FIBER STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND FIBER STRUCTURE
A fiber structure manufacturing apparatus includes: a defibration unit that pulverizes and defibrates a fiber raw material that contains fibers; a transportation unit that transports a defibrated material after defibration by the defibration unit; a melting-material mixing unit that mixes a melting material into the defibrated material transported by the transportation unit; a fibrous web forming unit that forms a fibrous web by causing a mixture of the defibrated material and the melting material to accumulate; a sheet supplying unit that supplies a shape retainer sheet to the fibrous web; and a heating-and-pressing mechanism that forms a fiber structure by heating and pressing the fibrous web after the shape retainer sheet is supplied; wherein the sheet supplying unit supplies the shape retainer sheet in such a state that nap is raised on a surface, of the shape retainer sheet, that is to be in contact with the fibrous web.
Sheet manufacturing apparatus and control method for sheet manufacturing apparatus
A defibrating unit that defibrates a raw material including fibers in an atmosphere, an accumulating unit that discharges defibrated matter by rotating a drum unit in which a plurality of openings are formed, a second web forming unit that forms a second web by operating a mesh belt on which the defibrated matter is accumulated, a sheet forming unit that forms a sheet from the second web, a cutting unit that cuts the sheet into a preset size, and a control unit that executes a stop control with a cut operation of the cutting unit as a trigger in a case where an instruction to stop an apparatus is provided are included. In the stop control, the control unit stops operation of the defibrating unit after stopping rotation of the drum unit and movement of the mesh belt.
