Printable film
A printable film that contains a polymeric film substrate with a front side and a backside. The printable film contains also a light diffusion layer and an image receiving layer. The light diffusion layer is applied on the backside of the polymeric film substrate and contains inorganic particles, dispersing agents and polymeric binders. The image receiving layer is applied over the light diffusion layer on the backside of the polymeric film substrate. Also disclosed herein is the method for obtaining the printable film.
Crumple-resistant security sheet, a method of manufacturing such a sheet, and a security document including such a sheet
The present invention relates to a crumple-resistant security sheet comprising fibers; an anionic polymer in a proportion lying in the range 5% to 45% by dry weight relative to the total dry weight of the fibers, and presenting a glass transition temperature greater than 40 C.; and a main cationic flocculation agent in a quantity lying in the range 1% to 5% by dry weight relative to the total dry weight of the fibers.
Separator paper for electrochemical cells
A paper suitable for use as separator in an electrochemical cell, including at least 60 wt. % of an aramid fibril and at least 1 wt. % of an aramid fiber. The paper has a grammage of 5 to 100 g/m2, and the aramid fibril has a Canadian Standard Freeness (CSF) in a wet phase of less than 300 ml and a specific surface area (SSA) after drying of less than 3 m2/g. It has been found that a paper with this composition combines good electrolyte absorption and ion permeability with high stability during use, leading to a long lifetime for the electrochemical cell.
JOINT MADE OF SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY AND USES THEREOF
The present application refers to a connection for connecting hydraulic tubing as used by subsea devices, by using a shaped memory alloy material. The sleeve connection made of a shaped memory alloy material, is originally manufactured with an internal diameter shorter than the external diameter of the tubing, internally has a cover material made of dielectric material and, most internally, has a layer of an anti-corrosive material which is contiguous to the external face of said tubing The layer of an anti-corrosive material internally has protruding portions designed to grasp the external surface of the tubing, forming streaks.
RECONSTITUTED PLANT MATERIAL AND ITS USE FOR PACKAGING, WRAPPING AND FOOD APPLIANCES
The present invention relates to a plant-based wrapping paper for wrapping food. The plants (raw materials) may be fruits, herbs, medicinal plants, tea, vegetables and/or spices. The invention further relates to a method for producing said wrapping paper, its use for wrapping food or its use as packaging material.
Aqueous cationic polyurethane dispersions
An aqueous cationic polyurethane dispersion for waterborne digital print and other applications comprising an aqueous dispersion of polyurethane having properly positioned tertiary amino groups, e.g., tethered tertiary amino group separated from backbone by at least two intervening atoms or terminal tertiary amino groups with multiple tertiary amino groups per terminus, where said amino groups are optionally partially quaternized and/or neutralized.
Circuit materials, circuit laminates, and articles formed therefrom
A dielectric substrate comprises a resin composition impregnated with non-woven fibrous mat material having a thickness of 5 mils (127 micrometers), wherein the fibrous mat material comprises fibers, having a diameter of 1 nm to 10 m, that have been extruded through one or more openings to produce fibers that have been collected in the form of a fibrous non-woven mat, and wherein the fibers exhibit a multi-directional orientation in the non-woven mat material. The dielectric substrate is useful in circuit materials, circuits, and multi-layer circuits, economical to make, and has excellent electrical and mechanical properties.
