Fastener system for fabrics
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems, apparatuses, and methods for removably fastening a decoration to a garment (e.g., a scarf or hat) or other decorative material, such that the decoration is secured in a desired orientation. In one implementation, a decorative fastener includes a decoration and a receiver. The decoration has a decorative member and a pin. The decorative member has a surface displaying aesthetic content and a fastening surface. The pin has a securing portion extending from the fastening surface. The securing portion has one or more securing features. The receiver has at least one receiving feature protruding from a surface and forming a plurality of fastening paths. Each of the fastening paths is configured to receive the securing portion of the pin. An orientation of the surface of the decorative member displaying the aesthetic content is based on a selection of one of the plurality of fastening paths.
Fastener system for fabrics

In one implementation, a decorative fastener includes a decoration and a receiver. The decoration has a decorative member and a pin. The decorative member has a surface displaying aesthetic content and a fastening surface. The pin has a securing portion extending from the fastening surface. The securing portion has one or more securing features. The receiver has at least one receiving feature protruding from a surface and forming a plurality of fastening paths. Each of the fastening paths is configured to receive the securing portion of the pin. An orientation of the surface of the decorative member displaying the aesthetic content is based on a selection of one of the plurality of fastening paths.
Illuminated wearable device
Embodiments of an illuminated wearable device such as a lapel pin are disclosed. A light emitting source such as a light emitting diode is attached to an ornamental element. A detachable clutch containing a power source attaches to a prong extruding from a back side of the ornamental element to advantageously hold the ornamental element in place while conductively connecting the light emitting source to the power source.

Embodiments of an illuminated wearable device such as a lapel pin are disclosed. A light emitting source such as a light emitting diode is attached to an ornamental element. A hair ornament comprises a light source, a controller, and a plurality of filaments configured to emit light through their side walls. The controller controls the light source based at least in part on a measurement from a sensor. A control device comprises a communications interface and a sensor. It optionally comprises a processor for generating a control signal based on a measurement signal from the sensor. Also disclosed is a method for controlling a hair ornament.

ACCESSORY FASTENER DEVICE AND METHOD
An accessory fastener device including front and back magnets for securing an accessory to a fabric item or other surface. The front and back magnets may include fabric shields covering a portion of the magnets and are configured to interface with the front and back sides of a fabric item. The accessory fastener may also include an accessory coupling configured to removably couple with the accessory. The device is used to add a plurality of accessories to fashion items, and also as a decorative means for holding and securing items in place.
Functional Decorative Brooch Skirt Weights
This patent discloses the design elements to manufacture functional decorative brooch skirt weights. Brooch skirt weights prevent a skirt, short dress, or other garment from blowing up in a breeze. Each set of skirt weights consists of two decorative brooches and a method of attaching them to the skirt hem that preferably does not put holes in a garment, such as a set of magnets, a clamp, clasp, pinch clasp, clip, tie-clip, money clip, or other similar attachment.

An improved jewelry member comprises a transparent cover or shield member, a frame housing including a top surface, a bottom surface and a top peripheral wall portion bounded by an outer peripheral wall portion and an authentic or natural and polished wood member secured to the top surface of the frame housing. A shank fastening member secured to the bottom surface of the frame housing. At least one feather arrangement is disposed and fixed to the top surface of the authentic or natural polished wood member. The transparent cover or shield member is secured by a bonding material to at least the top surface of the authentic or natural polished wood member to completely cover the at least one feather arrangement and at least a portion of the authentic or natural and polished wood member and the frame housing to protect them from damage.
