HYDROPHOBIC ROLLING PAPERS
A rolling paper includes a hydrophobic substrate region comprising hydrophobic groups covalently bonded to the rolling paper, and a moisture-activated adhesive adjacent to the hydrophobic substrate region and longitudinal edge of the rolling paper.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING A FIBROUS PREPARATION FOR IMMERSION-RESISTANT OPAQUE PAPER
A method for obtaining a fibrous preparation for manufacturing a paper having significant water repellency and opacity in the dry or wet state. Fibres are suspended in water; calcium salts are added to the fibres; a source of carbonate salts in the form of an aqueous solution are added and the resulting mixture is stirred for a time sufficient to allow calcium carbonate particles to be precipitated. A solution of fatty acid salts heated to a temperature which corresponds to the micellisation temperature of said fatty acid salts is added and takes into account the critical micellar concentration of the fatty acid salts. The mixture is stirred thus obtained for a time sufficient to allow the fatty acids to be absorbed at the surface of the calcium carbonate particles and to obtain the desired fibrous preparation.
MINERAL MATERIAL POWDER WITH HIGH DISPERSION ABILITY AND USE OF SAID MINERAL MATERIAL POWDER
The present invention refers to a mineral matter powder preparation by wet process without acrylic additive or other grinding aid additives and to Me use of said mineral matter after an optional hydrophobic treatment. Said mineral material Having superior dispersing properties.

Blends of polymers as wet strengthening agents for paper
Resin systems and methods for making and using same are provided. The method for making a paper product can include contacting a plurality of pulp fibers with a resin system. The resin system can include a first polyamidoamine-epihalohydrin resin and a second resin that can include a second polyamidoamine-epihalohydrin resin, a urea-formaldehyde resin, or a mixture thereof to produce a paper product. The first resin and the second resin can be sequentially or simultaneously contacted with the plurality of pulp fibers. The period for sequential addition between the first resin and the second resin is about 1 second to about 1 hour.
PROCESS FOR APPLYING COMPOSITION CONTAINING A CATIONIC TRIVALENT METAL AND DEBONDER AND FLUFF PULP SHEET MADE FROM SAME
A process is provided for making a fluff pulp sheet, comprising contacting at least one cationic trivalent metal, salt thereof, or combination thereof with a composition comprising fluff pulp fibers and water at a first pH, to form a fluff pulp mixture; forming a web from the fluff pulp mixture; and applying at least one debonder surfactant to the web and raising the pH to a second pH, which is higher than the first pH, to make the fluff pulp sheet. A fluff pulp sheet is also provided, comprising a web comprising fluff pulp fibers; at least one cationic trivalent metal, salt thereof, or combination thereof; at least one debonder surfactant; and a fiberization energy of <145 kJ/kg. Products and uses of the fluff pulp sheet are also provided.

FIRE RETARDANT PAPER
The invention relates to a fire retardant paper comprising reinforcing fibre, a fire retardant material and a binder system, wherein the binder system comprises a first organic binder and a second organic binder, wherein the first organic binder has a lower glass transition temperature than the second organic binder.
FIBERBOARD MANUFACTURED WITH CELLULOSE NANOFIBRILS AS A BINDER AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Fiberboard sheet materials containing cellulosic fibers ae disclosed in which cellulose nanofibrils are used as a binder for adhering the cellulosic fibers together. The cellulose nanofibrils are present in an amount of 0.5% to 7.5% by weight on a dry weight basis of the fiberboard sheet. The fiberboard sheet materials have strength properties that meet or exceed the requirements in ASTM C208, and are useful for structural sheathing and roofing board applications. A process for manufacturing the fiberboard sheet is also disclosed.
Method and Composition for Detackifying Organic Contaminants in the Process of Pulping and Papermaking
The present invention discloses a method for detackifying organic contaminants in the process of pulping and papermaking and a composition used for the same. Specifically, the invention discloses that the water circulation system of pulping and papermaking process can be provided with non-ionic cellulose ether and cationic coagulant in lower amount, through which, the deposition of organic contaminants can be inhibited under the synergistic action of pre-coagulation and detackification.
