Polydimethylsiloxane films and method of manufacture
A method of producing a printed electronic device on a thin PDMS film which includes coupling a first layer of a water-soluble polymer to a substrate and drying the first layer of the water-soluble polymer. The method further includes coupling a second layer of a crosslinkable PDMS polymer to the first layer of the water-soluble polymer and curing the second layer of the crosslinkable PDMS polymer to form the thin PDMS film. The method also includes printing one or more functional layers on the thin PDMS film and drying the one or more functional layers on the thin PDMS film to form the printed electronic device coupled to the substrate.
Barrier coatings
A barrier coating composition comprising a starch material characterised in that the starch material has a weight average molecular weight of 50.000 to 1.000.000 Dalton and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of no more than 120 C.

Articles formed of pulp base materials with modulated scent release
Described are articles formed of a pulp base material comprising fibers, wherein pores are formed between the fibers. A volatile composition with at least one top note component and at least one base note component at least partially fills the pores of the pulp base material. A release rate of the at least one top note component is modulated by the pulp base material, and a release rate of the at least one base note component is enhanced by the pulp base material.
System and method for reprinting on paper
An enhanced paper for printing, including a substrate, an ablation resistant coating applied to the substrate, wherein the enhanced paper is ablation resistant so that it is not damaged by a light beam that illuminates enhanced paper with a fluence that ablates ink or toner but would damage standard printing paper that is made from cellulose fiber and is non-ablation resistant; and wherein the enhanced paper has physical properties of the standard printing paper for printing with laser printers and ink printers.
Method for making a temperature-independent paper test strip for detecting zika virus
A method for making and a resultant paper test strip product for detecting Zika antibodies indicating the presence of Zika virus in a patient sample. The paper test strip includes a strip of filter paper; and a silk fibroin solution applied to the strip of filter paper wherein the silk fibroin solution is mixed with an enzyme solution in phosphate buffered saline buffer.

Paper coating composition with highly modified starches
Coating compositions, including high degree of substitution (DS), viscosity optimized starches, are disclosed for use in non-barrier paper coatings. Paper coated with the same is disclosed as well as methods of making the coating compositions and coated papers.
COATING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING GROUND NATURAL CALCIUM CARBONATE (GCC)
The present invention relates to a coating composition comprising at least one binder and at least one ground natural calcium carbonate material. The invention further relates to the use of at least one ground natural calcium carbonate material in a coating composition comprising at least one binder as well as to an article that is coated with such a coating composition and a paint comprising such a coating composition.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHEET CONTAINING FINE FIBERS
The present invention was accomplished in order to provide a method for producing a sheet containing fine fibers, which enables production of a sheet containing fine fibers without producing wrinkles. The present invention provides a method for producing a sheet containing fine fibers comprising a coating step of coating a dispersion containing fine fibers having a fiber diameter of 1000 nm or smaller on a base material, and a drying step of drying the dispersion containing fine fibers coated on the base material to form a sheet containing fine fibers.
