METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A FILM COMPRISING MICROFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE, A FILM AND A PAPER OR PAPERBOARD PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a method for the production of a film comprising microfibrillated cellulose, wherein the method comprises the steps of; providing a suspension comprising between 70 weight-% to 100 weight-% of microfibrillated cellulose based on total dry weight, forming a fibrous web of said suspension, drying the web in a drying equipment wherein the web is at least partly dried at a drying rate above 75 kg(H.sub.2O)/m.sup.2/h by use of hot air whereby a film is formed. The invention also relates to a film produce according to the method and a paper or paperboard substrate comprising said film.
Paper substrates and articles containing antimicrobial components as well as methods of making and using the same
The invention relates to the papermaking art and, in particular, to the manufacture of paper substrates, paper-containing articles such as file folders, having improved reduction or inhibition in the growth of microbes, mold and/or fungus.

Support Carrier Material with a Modified Resin Layer, and the Production Thereof
A carrier material has a resin layer arranged on a side of the carrier material. The resin layer includes a formaldehyde resin, a polymer selected from a group containing polyacrylates, polyepoxides, polyesters, polyurethanes, and long-chain silanols, and at least one silane-containing compound of general formula (I), R.sub.a SiX.sub.(4-a), and/or the hydrolysis product thereof, where X is H, OH, or a hydrolyzable residue selected from the group comprising halogen, alkoxy, carboxy, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, aryloxy, acyloxy, alkylcarbonyl; R is a non-hydrolyzable organic residue R selected from the group comprising alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, substituted and unsubstituted alkynyl, cycloalkyl, which can be interrupted by O or NH; and where R can have a functional group Q selected from a group containing a hydroxy, ether, amino, monoalkylamino, dialkylamino, anilino, amide, carboxy, mercapto, alkoxy, aldehyde, alkylcarbonyl, epoxide, alkenyl, alkynyl, acryl, acryloxy, methacryl, methacryloxy, cyano, and isocyano group, and a is 0-3.
DRY PROCESSED CELLULOSE FIBERS FOR PAPERMAKING
Dry processing of cellulose fibers in an attritor mill produces small cellulose particles with properties useful for increasing the bulk of paperboard products. In contrast with the usual behaviour of small particles, the dry attritor-processed particles exhibit a further benefit of good drainage on a paper machine. Comparisons are made for the modulus, smoothness, and density of paperboard made with and without the dry-attrited cellulose particles.

Drying device and cigarette wrapping paper manufacturing machine using the drying device
A drying device having a travel path along which a web (W) of paper travels, a plurality of drying ovens arranged side by side along the travel path, a plurality of conveyor rolls provided in each of the drying ovens to convey the web (W) along the travel path, a plurality of roll units each constituted by one or more of the conveyor rolls and separated from each other along the travel path, and a plurality of conveyor motors connected to the respective roll units to rotate the conveyor rolls, wherein a downstream one of the roll units with respect to the travel path is rotated at a lower rotating speed than an upstream one of the roll units.

BARRIER COATINGS
A barrier coating composition comprising a starch material characterised in that the starch material has a weight average molecular weight of 50.000 to 1.000.000 Dalton and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of no more than 120 C.
FOAMED COMPOSITIONS, FOAM PADDED MATERIALS, AND PACKAGING ARTICLES
Polymeric foamed compositions, foam padded materials that include such polymeric foamed compositions, and packaging articles (e.g., envelopes) that include such foam padded materials, wherein the foamed composition includes: a polymeric component including a copolymer including divalent hydroxyethylene monomer units and divalent dihydroxybutylene monomer units; wherein the composition is in the form of an at least partially water-soluble foam.
