Softener composition
A softener composition for use in the manufacture of paper includes a softener and an acidic material, wherein the softener composition has a relative acidity (RA) value of more than 0.05.
Nanofibrillated cellulose ply bonding agent or adhesive and multi-ply absorbent sheet made therewith
A ply-bonding agent or adhesive composition characterized by a viscosity and a surface tension for the manufacture of paper tissue and paper towel, includes: (a) water; (b) nanofibrillated cellulose; and (c) one or more modifiers effective to modify either or both of (i) the viscosity of the composition or (ii) the surface tension of the composition, wherein the one or more additional modifiers are selected from the group consisting of components (iii), (iv), (v), (vi), (vii) or (viii), wherein: (iii) is PVOH and a viscosity modifier; (iv) is a viscosity modifier; (v) is a viscosity modifier and a surface tension modifier other than PVOH; (vi) is a water-soluble cellulose derivative; (vii) is a water soluble polyol; and (viii) is a surface tension modifier other than PVOH. The compositions are particularly useful for ply-bonding multi-ply absorbent sheet when the plies are treated with debonder.
Machine and method for producing a fibrous web
A machine for producing a fibrous web, such as a tissue web, has pressing device with a pressing element and a counter-element with a closed surface for forming a pressure nip. A water-absorbing belt with a web side and an opposite pressing element side is guided together with the fibrous web through the pressure nip and the fibrous web is separated at the end of the pressure nip from the web side of the water-absorbing belt and runs further with the counter-element. The water-absorbing belt has at least a first ply and a second ply, and, as viewed in the thickness direction of the water-absorbing belt, a layer in or on the belt half which faces the pressing element, which layer has a higher specific throughflow resistance than the first ply and/or the second ply.
Deflecting member for making fibrous structures
A deflection member that includes a reinforcing member that includes a resin coating, and at least one tile fastened to the resin coating.
DEFLECTING MEMBER FOR MAKING FIBROUS STRUCTURES
A deflection member that includes a reinforcing member that includes a resin coating, and at least one tile fastened to the resin coating.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF INTERMITTENT COATING RELEASE PAPER
Disclosed is a manufacturing process of intermittent coating release paper, which includes: a) undercoating; b) primary drying in a drying oven; c) printing optical marks; d) coating silicon in a section; e) accurately coating heat-sealing material on front and back sides of the base material; f) secondary drying, rolling up, the action of coating the silicon and coating the heat sealing material is precisely positioned by using the optical marks printed in the previous process. The manufactured release paper can be directly applied to the packaging of women's sanitary napkins, pads, and maternity napkins, there is no need to use spaced release paper, the whole can be degraded or recycled for pulping, and can also reduce the use of various coating materials during production, reduce production costs, thus being beneficial to improve the production level of the existing process and the ecological environment protection.
BIODEGRADABLE COMPOSITE AND PRODUCT CONTAINING BIODEGRADABLE COMPOSITE
A biodegradable composite includes an organic matter and a porous material, wherein the organic matter has viable bacteria, and a total plate count of the organic matter is greater than or equal to 10.sup.4 CFU/g. The organic matter accounts for 40% to 80% of a weight of the biodegradable composite. The porous material accounts for 20% to 60% of the weight of the biodegradable composite. The biodegradable composite could instantly remove unpleasant odor and accelerate a decomposition process to form compost. A product containing the biodegradable composite is provided as well.
