SLEEPER BLOCK UNIT FOR RAILWAY TRACK SYSTEMS
A sleeper block unit including a sleeper block and a sleeper shoe that surrounds the latter in its lower area. In the area of the upper edge of the side walls (9) of the sleeper shoe, a surrounding sealing collar (14) of an elastic material is arranged which sealingly connects the sleeper block to the sleeper shoe. The sealing collar (14) includes an upper edge section (15), a lower edge section (16), and a lateral section (17) arranged therebetween. In the area of the upper edge of the side walls (9) of the sleeper shoe (3), a surrounding bead (11) is externally arranged which is sealingly overlapped by the lower edge section of the sealing collar (14).
Ballastless track system
A ballastless track system comprises a base; a track slab arranged above the base; a poured-field layer arranged between the base and the track slab, the poured-field layer being formed by filling self-compacting concrete, emulsified asphalt cement mortar or resin mortar, and the inside of the poured-field layer being of a steel bar structure; a connecting piece, the first end of the connecting piece extending into the track slab, and the second end of the connecting piece extending into the poured-field layer; and two rows of rail-seat arranged on the track slab in parallel; and rails arranged on the rail-seat. The ballastless track system is high in reliability, good in durability, and easy in construction and maintenance.
VACUUM TUBE RAILWAY SYSTEM
Vacuum tube railway system comprising a vacuum tube mounted on a ground support, a magnetic levitation railway track mounted inside a wall forming the vacuum tube for guiding a magnetic levitation railway vehicle, the vacuum tube assembled in sections along the ground support, at least some of a plurality of sections of vacuum tube being coupled together by a dilatation joint configured for hermetically sealing a dilatation gap between said sections of tube. The dilatation joint comprises at least first and second support plates mounted on an outer surface of the tube wall, a first support plate fixed to a first section of vacuum tube and a second support plate being fixed to a second section of vacuum tube, the support plates extending longitudinally over the dilatation gap over a length (L1) greater than a maximum dilatation gap (G).
Railway roadbed dformation detection and early warning system
A system for detecting and pre-warning railway roadbed deformation includes: a control box and an optical fiber-pressure sensor group. The optical fiber-pressure sensor group is formed by disposing a plurality of optical fiber-pressure sensors into a cuboid shape, and is buried in the railway roadbed for detecting magnitude of roadbed deformation in each direction. The direction of the deformation can be acknowledged easily, allowing the staff to eliminate potential risks purposefully. A time series prediction algorithm is performed to forecast a trend of the roadbed deformation in each direction, such that the staff may purposefully overhaul and correct the tracks where the roadbed is deformed excessively. At the same time, the staff may overhaul the track before the magnitude of the roadbed deformation reaches a predetermined value. Potential safety hazards may be eliminated in advance, ensuring the safety for the operation of the railroad.
System And Method For Subgrade Stabilization Of Railroad Bed
The invention is a system and method for repairing, improving, and stabilizing subgrade and subsoil/natural ground layers of a rail bed generally consisting of softer soils. One embodiment includes a method of installing subsurface inclusions and ballast fills comprising injected slurry mixtures of stabilizing material such as cement grout mixed with in situ soil. Another embodiment includes a system of installed ground inclusions and ballast fills. Another embodiment includes an integrated system of equipment for emplacing the system of inclusions and ballast fills.
Shear Resistant Drain System for Improving Weak Foundation Soils
Shear drain devices are used to prepare ground with a weak soil layer to receive a static load, for example a structural foundation or a soil embankment, in which the ground includes a weak soil layer that consists of fine grained soils over a base layer. Each shear drain devices each include an elongate perforated pipe member, a surrounding reinforcement member providing tensile reinforcement and aggregate fill. The ground is prepared by (i) inserting the pipe members and reinforcement members in an upright orientation within the fine grained soils such that fluid in the surrounding soil can readily pass into the pipe members and (ii) subsequently placing the aggregate fill in the pipe members to occupy the hollow interior thereof such that the resulting shear drain devices increase a shear strength of the weak soil layer.
RESILIENT SOLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Resilient sole 1 which is attached to a concrete layer (2) or which is positioned between a concrete layer (2) and ballast (3), and which is formed by a layer (4) of recycled rubber, in the revulcanised state after devulcanisation, and a layer (5) of structured fibres which is arranged so as to be in contact with the rubber layer, the fibres being partially impregnated in the rubber layer and having a free thickness (8) of structured fibres, assembly comprising the sole and method for manufacturing same.
Versatile light rail bed paver
A concrete finishing and forming machine adapted for rail trackbed deck construction accommodates various plinths and channels needed for light rail construction. The adjustably configurable machine comprises a rigid frame disposed above a deck by vertically upright, adjustable jack stands supported at their bottoms by wheeled, powered bogies adapted to traverse upon suitable rails on opposite sides of the deck. The jack-stands may be connected to supporting swing arms that extend from pivot sleeves enabling the jack stands to angularly swing out from the frame. A slidable carriage that is longitudinally displaceable within the frame supports at least one downwardly extending, vertically adjustable paving head having a tool that, when immersed within wet concrete and then horizontally displaced, strikes off elongated, smoothed channels resembling pathways upon the concrete. The heads are longitudinally displaceable relative to the carriage so they may be spaced apart such that plinth strips are concurrently formed between the channels.
RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM WITH WHEEL IN TRACK DESIGN
A rapid transit system with wheel in track design includes a guideway, a vehicle that includes a vehicle bogie or chassis that couples to the guideway, and one or more terminals and/or intermediate stations. The guideway may include a first guideway and a second guideway, with a switch guideway interposed thereinbetween that allows the vehicle to move from the first guideway to the second guideway or vice versa. The vehicle may be coupled to the guideway via the vehicle bogie. The bogie may have a first axle, a second axle, and a third axle. First and second sets of guidewheels propel the vehicle forward or backward. The first set of switch wheels and/or the second set of switch wheels may be engaged and interact with one or more first or second neutral rails or first and second switch rails to move the vehicle from guideway to guideway.
