Track Maintenance Machine And Method For Consolidation Of A Ballast Bed
A track maintenance machine, constructed to be mobile on a track, for consolidation of a ballast bed underneath a track, includes a machine frame supported on an undercarriage and a consolidating device, connected to the machine frame, which includes at least one consolidating element constructed to be lowered. The consolidating element is constructed as a consolidating plate which, in a working position, is larger in a longitudinal direction of the track than a distance between two sleepers of the track, and the consolidating plate is disposed to be rotatable in order to turn the consolidating plate into a passing position for lowering or raising between two sleepers. A method for consolidation of the ballast bed underneath a track by using a track maintenance machine is also provided.
Hand-held tamper for underfilling ballast of a track
A hand-held tamper for underfilling ballast of a track. The tamper has a drive motor for the rotation of an unbalance and a tamping shovel fastened to a lower end of a shaft which is joined to the drive motor and has a longitudinal axis. The shovel consists of two shovel halves each joined to the shaft. Each shovel half has an upper shovel part nearer to the drive motor and a lower shovel part positioned at a first angle <180 in relation thereto. Both shovel halves are disposed at a second angle <180 relative to one another when viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the shaft.
Integrated ballast mat
A protective coating system for a railway structure having a waterproof membrane and a ballast mat. The waterproof membrane is disposed on the railway structure. The ballast mat further has a ballast protection coating and a sealing layer. The ballast protection coating is a rubber compound and is disposed on the waterproof membrane. The sealing layer is disposed on the ballast protection layer.
Tamping assembly for a track tamping machine
A tamping assembly for a track tamping machine comprises a carrier guided in a height-adjustable manner with respect to a tamping assembly frame along guides, on which carrier pairs of tamping tools formed as oscillating levers are pivotably mounted, the tamping tools of which can be oppositely driven by an oscillation drive and can be hydraulically adjusted relative to one another, said tamping tools being intended for introduction into a ballast bed. To reduce the number of required drives, several of the tamping tools are combined into tamping units with a compartment between them engaging around a rail and are mechanically connected to each other, and each oscillating lever is associated with a tamping unit and an adjusting drive, wherein the guides, especially the guide rods, act directly on the respective carrier and run in fixed guides of the tamping assembly frame.
Geoengineering constructions for use in railways
A railway geogrid construction is suitable for use with high speed trains to mitigate the increased impact of Rayleigh waves generated at high speed and/or over soft subgrades. The construction includes a track bed which defines a track located on a track plane, a mass of particulate material such as an aggregate forming a layer located beneath the track plane, and a geogrid located in and/or below the particulate mass in a geogrid plane substantially parallel to the track plane where the average distance between the track plane and geogrid plane, measured perpendicular to both, is greater than 0.65 metres.
SUPPORT FOR A PANEL OF A SECTION OF GUIDED TRANSPORT TRACK
The invention relates in particular to a guided transport track section intended to be fixed to a ballastless track formation (15), characterised in that said section comprises: a track panel (20) comprising two stringers (21, 22) and at least one structure transverse to the stringers (23, 24), each stringer (21, 22) comprising an upper longitudinal groove (25) for receiving a rail; a plurality of panel supports (31, 32, 33, 34), each support comprising at least one stud (35) for fastening to the track formation, a cradle (37) for supporting a stringer (22) that is mounted so as to be movable vertically in said stud (35), and means for vertical movement of said cradle (37) relative to said stud (35) so that the height of the panel (20) relative to said track formation (15) can be adjusted, and the superelevation of the track section thus formed can be defined by means of coordinated adjustment of the various cradles (37).
TRACK
Track and more particularly slabs (1) for a light railway track in which the slab comprises a convex end (2) and a concave end (3) which are generally concentric and reciprocal to each other such that in use the convex end of one slab and engage the concave end of another slab with the respective slabs at an angle to each other. The slabs are secured together to provided straight and curved sections with a modular slab shape and allowing other features for monitoring and/or improved operation.
Method for guiding a device for inserting elements into the ground for the building of a structure; insertion device and associated vehicle
A method includes: taking a topographical survey of a plurality of geographical points near a structure to be built, the position of each point being determined in an absolute frame of reference XYZ; installing a plurality of reflectors, each reflector being placed at a geographical point of the topographical survey; measuring distances between reflectors and optical devices, using at least three optical devices fixed on a moving arm of an insertion device that bears an element to be inserted; computing, by trilateration, the absolute position of the arm of the insertion device from the measured distances and from the known position of each optical reflector; and moving the arm of the insertion device based on the computed absolute position, so as to bring the element to be inserted into a predetermined implantation position.
FORWORK SEGMENT
The invention relate to a formwork segment for the construction of a continuous carriageway for railway tracks, where the formwork segment is rigidly connected to a carriageway segment, such that the formwork segment remains permanently on the lower outer face of the carriageway segment and is non-demouldable, a hollow space that can be filled with a poured material being provided, and the formwork segment being made from a composite material such as a reinforced polymer fibre material, thermoplastic materials, or the like.
