The invention preferably relates to the device in the form of a collar, to the use thereof for improving the well-being and the mobility of an animal to which the device is applied, and to a process for producing the device.

A wearable sanitization device can be conveniently carried on one's body, especially the wrist. The preferred form of the apparatus involves a rubber or flexible plastic holster in the shape of a watch. A band connected to the holster may be adjusted to fit the shape and size of a user's wrist. A sanitizer-storing receptacle is mounted within the holster, thereby reducing the likelihood of misplacing sanitizer. A dispenser extending from the receptacle is oriented towards the hand of the user, ensuring the contents of the receptacle are dispensed appropriately upon the user's palm and fingers.

An exposed actuator, usually a button, on the receptacle may be depressed or actuated to enable easy, single-digit dispensing of the sanitizer. A fluid dispensing band apparatus include a mounting band defining a central void dimensioned to receive and object with the band mounted therearound. The central void defines an axis. The apparatus includes a container depending from the band and including a hollow chamber configured for containing a fluid. A wearable fluid-dispensing apparatus that includes a flexible wristband coupled to and surrounding a wrist-arm area of a user, with the wristband having a frame disposed along an outer surface of the wearable wristband and at a ventral side of the user's wrist, an enclosed cartridge coupled to the frame for housing a fluid therein, and a fluid transfer conduit disposed within the enclosed cartridge for transporting the fluid from the enclosed cartridge to a nozzle port on a finger-activatable pump assembly coupled to the frame. The pump assembly defines a nozzle port disposed above a top end of the wristband and angled toward the user's palm, defining a fluid extraction passageway fluidly coupled to the nozzle port and the fluid transfer conduit, and operably configured to translate downwardly toward the fluid extraction passageway fluidly to generate a vacuum therein and emit the fluid on the user's inner hand.

An article of manufacture for providing a wearable face and hand proximity detector is disclosed. The article includes a bracelet to be worn on a user's wrist and a necklace to be worn around the user's neck. One of these devices includes a signal transmitter that may be received by a receiver element in the other device. The received signal being detected provides an indication that the user's hand is nearing the user's face. When the signal is detected, an alarm is generated. The alarm may be an auditory signal or a physical vibration that may be felt by the user.
