Material transport carriage
The invention relates to a material transport carriage (1) for transporting bulk material, in particular ballast. Said transport carriage comprises a frame (2) which extends in a longitudinal direction (L), expands in a transverse direction (Q) and spans a frame plane with an upper side and a lower side, in addition to at least two drive units (5) which are connected to the frame (2), and an upper conveyor unit (6) which is arranged on the upper side of the frame plane. Said material transport carriage (1) also comprises a lower conveyor unit (7) which is arranged on the underside of the frame plane (R).
VERTICAL RIDE QUALITY SYSTEM FOR A RAIL VEHICLE
A rail maintenance vehicle includes a frame, a workhead, an actuator, a pilot valve, and a throttling valve. The frame includes wheels that travel along rails. The actuator extends and retracts the workhead with respect to the frame. The pilot valve receives a fluid and controls the flow of the fluid to at least one output. The throttling valve adjusts a pressure of the fluid at an output relative to a pressure of the fluid at an input. The pilot valve and the throttle valve are coupled such that the fluid travels through the pilot valve and the throttling valve to cause the workhead to be extended or retracted.

Loading Train For Bulk Material
A loading train has at least two loading wagons for transporting and storing bulk material. The loading wagons each have a wagon frame supported on on-track undercarriages, a storage box with a bottom conveyor belt which is situated in the bottom region of the storage box and extends in the longitudinal direction of the wagon, and a pivotable transfer conveyor belt adjoining the bottom conveyor belt and projecting beyond the wagon frame. A tilt protection device is provided between the front-most, first loading wagon with regard to a transport direction of the bottom conveyor belt, and the following, second loading wagon. The tilt protection device is configured for contacting the rearward wagon frame end of the first loading wagon in order to block an upward movement of the wagon frame.
Apparatus for improving the track position by residual error compensation
A track adjustment system for operating a permanent-way machine (17) which is displaceable on a track system (1) comprises computer-controlled lifting and lining devices adjusting the track position, a control measuring system measuring the track position in the region of the lifting and lining devices (14), an acceptance measuring system measuring the corrected track position, and a tamping unit (24) tamping a ballasted track of the track system (1). For the purpose of achieving an improved track lining result, the amount of the elastic springback (c.sub.w) of the track panel, which is the result of a lining force (F) acting on the track, is calculated and said elastic springback (c.sub.w) is considered in the target value lining specification in such a way that the track is displaced with the lifting and lining devices by the amount of the elastic springback (c.sub.w) beyond the target position (0).
BULK MATERIAL LOADING WAGON
A bulk material loading wagon (1) for incorporation into a loading train consisting of several such wagons has a storage box (3) for storing bulk material, the storage box being open at the top and fastened to a wagon frame (2), andassociated with the storage boxa bottom conveyor belt (5) extending in the lower region of the storage box (3) and in the longitudinal direction of the wagon. The wagon frame (2) is equipped with an opening (16), arranged between two adjacent on-track undercarriages (14), for passage of a lower section adjoining the lower deflection end (9)of a transfer conveyor belt (8). A drive (18) is provided for displacement of the transfer conveyor belt (8) in its conveying- or longitudinal direction (4) through the opening (18) relative to the wagon frame (2).
Railway work vehicle
The invention relates to a railway work vehicle comprising a chassis supported by a drive mechanism and work devices supported by the chassis. According to the invention, the transportation of material within the work vehicle below and/or above and/or next to the working devices can be improved by using at least one conveyor track on which conveyor bodies for objects or objects forming conveyor bodies, in the form of a parceled goods, can be driven along the working vehicle.

Roadworthy railroad ballast tamper apparatus
A tamper apparatus configured for being transportable upon a road is provided. A chassis is configured for supporting the tamper apparatus. A retractable turntable unit is connected to the chassis. The turntable unit has a generally quadrilateral configuration with side walls, and is rotatably attached at substantially a center of mass of the tamper apparatus. A tamping unit is connected to the chassis and configured for performing packing of a ballast under railroad ties for correcting cross and longitudinal levels of a pair of rails of a railroad track. A buggy lift assembly is removably attached to the chassis and configured for providing track alignment of the rails. At least one set of retractable rail wheels is connected to the chassis such that the chassis is towable by an automobile.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE BALLAST SUPPLY DURING RENOVATION OF A BALLAST BED
In the course of rehabilitation of a ballast bed of a track, while creating a track construction site (10), old bulk material (6) to be removed is stored on a plurality of storage wagons (2) connected to form a loading train (7). Parallel thereto, new bulk material (9) pre-deposited on a plurality of storage wagons (2) connected to form a loading train (8) is introduced into the track construction site (10). The introduction of the new bulk material (9) into the track construction site (10) is controlled automatically in dependence on a volume of the old bulk material (6) removed from the track construction site (10)
