The present disclosure relates to a portable attachment and communication system that enable a desired image to be displayed with flexibility and lower power consumption in an article worn or carried by a human. The portable attachment is an article including a display body made of an electrophoretic display, the article being carried or worn by a user. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a portable attachment, etc. Examples of the portable attachment carried by a user are a bag, a wallet, a key holder, etc. Examples of the portable attachment worn by the user are a hair accessory, a tie, a watch, clothing, etc.

Generally, this disclosure enables various earrings and methods of manufacture and use thereof. For example, some of these earrings are selectively reversible between different aesthetic appearances for wearing to different occasions. This selective reversibility is enabled through various modalities of operation (e.g., clock-like action, spinning action). These modalities of operation are technologically beneficial because these modalities of operation enable such earrings to be selectively reversed from various ear portions.

A Personal Sound Amplification System is provided in accordance with one embodiment of the invention and includes a Personal Sound Amplification Device (PSAD), a receiving module and an external sound tube, wherein the PSAD includes a power module having a power source. The receiving module includes a receiving module body having a module body top and defining a receiving module body cavity for containing module electronics, wherein the receiving module is configured to removably associate with a decorative jewelry cover. Moreover, the external sound tube may be associated with the module body top of the receiving module.

A jacket for an earring stud having a post is provided. The jacket includes a connecting member for releasably securing the earring to the earlobe of a wearer. The connecting member may pierce the ear or frictionally engage the ear to secure the earring in place. Provided herein is a balancing device for preventing accidental fall out of a wireless earbud OR TWS, when the wireless earbud is dislodged during any activity such as but not limited to exercise or running activities. The balancing device includes a flexible element arranged to wrap around the back of the ear; and a counterweight, wherein the flexible element is configured to hang over the top of a user's ear and the counterweight is attached to the flexible element to counteract the weight of the wireless earbud, thereby the wireless earbud is stopped from slipping off and falling to the ground, when the earbud is accidently dropped or dislodged from the ear. The balancing device is compatible with a regular ear-rings or any other ear jewellery with a metal plate with a hole.

The present invention provides a method of commemorating at least one special date for an individual with a customized jewelry design. The method comprises selecting at least one day, from numbers 1 through 31, and at least one month, from numbers 1 through 12, that the individual wishes to commemorate; placing at least one first design element which corresponds to the at least one selected day on a base element, said base element divided into sixty visible or invisible segments to represent a clock face with a top point on the clock face representing noon or midnight and referred to as a zero point, wherein the placement of the at least one first design element represents at least one minute hand of the clock and placing at least one second design element which corresponds to the at least one selected month on the base element, wherein the placement of the at least one second design element represents at least one hour hand of the clock. The customized jewelry may include, without limitation, pendants, earrings, bracelets or rings.

An ear piercing instrument, including: a base housing on which a first mounting cavity extending parallel to a stud piercing direction is provided; and an integrally molded stud piercing housing which is configured to assemble a stud assembly or a stud and fixedly connected in the first mounting cavity by a third snap. The stud piercing housing is provided with a push rod guiding cylinder embedded in the first mounting cavity, and a piercing assembly is at least partially located in the push rod guiding cylinder and is clamped and positioned by both the stud piercing housing and a bottom wall of the first mounting cavity.

Various pieces of jewelry and methods of manufacture and use thereof. In particular, these technologies enable a piece of jewelry with a region hosting (i) a hidden hinge and (ii) a decorative element. The decorative element includes a first wall and a second wall opposing the first wall such that the first wall and the second wall collectively define the decorative element when the hidden hinge is closed, thereby enabling a visually continuous appearance when viewed by an observer, and not collectively define the decorative element when the hidden hinge is open, thereby not enabling the visually continuous appearance when viewed by the observer. Therefore, by having the decorative element include the first wall and the second wall, the visually continuous appearance is enabled when the hidden hinge is closed.
