PAVER TILE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A secured paver tile system comprises one or more paver tiles, one or more locking plates or pins, one or more pedestals for placement under the paver tiles and a screw or bolt. The paver tiles have one or more cavities adapted to receive the locking plate or pin. The locking plate or pin has an aperture adapted to receive the screw or bolt. The pedestal is adapted to receive said screw or bolt. The locking plate or pin may be a pin or a plate having 2 or more arms. The arms may optionally have secondary apertures to augment the holding capacity of the system. A method of securing paver tiles in a manner that satisfies high wind requirements of building codes includes inserting said one or more locking plates or pins in said at least one cavity, inserting said bolt or screw in the one or more locking plates or pins, and inserting said bolt or screw into said pedestal. The cavities may be additionally filled with an adhesive such as thin set mortar for example.
Mat made of waterproof plastic material for the sub-base of synthetic turfs or pavings
A mat made of waterproof plastic material for the sub-base of synthetic turfs or pavings and the like includes one or more coupling elements for mutual interconnection with other mats so as to compose a single turf for the complete covering of a predetermined bed surface. The mat is divided into at least two longitudinal portions which are mutually connected by an expansion joint component adapted to compensate for the thermal expansions and contractions by deforming.
Method for Operating a Driverless Transport System
A method for operating at least one intelligent floor element includes receiving at least one planned movement of at least one object on at least one floor element, determining at least one safety area for each object in its environment on at least one floor element, checking overlaps of safety areas, and outputting a signal with respect to the safety area with the aid of activatable markings on at least one floor element.
Building block system of prefabricated non-masonry mortarless interlocking building blocks with cap attachments
A building block system of a plurality of transportable, lightweight, and reusable hollow prefabricated non-masonry interlocking mortarless building blocks that have corresponding mating formations being protuberances and concavities that run vertically up the building blocks being joined together and when aligned in a staggered manner upwardly are held together with threaded reinforcement rods extending vertically between and connected to the top and bottom channels through connectable couplings and capped off with complementary cap attachments.
Apparatus for laying a paver
An apparatus for laying a paver has a body portion having a top side and an underside. A raised paver guide is located on the top side and is positioned to receive the paver when the paver is against the top side. The underside is at least partially hollow.
Apparatus for laying a paver
An apparatus for laying a paver has a body portion having a top side and an underside. A raised paver guide is located on the top side and is positioned to receive the paver when the paver is against the top side. The underside is at least partially hollow.
UNDERLAYMENT PANEL HAVING DRAINAGE CHANNELS
An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.
Method for installation of system for paver support
A method for providing a system for supporting a layer of paver blocks, the method including excavating drain holes at a depth corresponding to at least a length of a corresponding drain pipe, forming a base by pouring high porosity non-compactable material into each drain hole of the at least three drain holes, inserting a drain pipe into a corresponding drain hole, filling a hollow of the drain pipe with a non-compactable material, placing a water permeable closure across the top opening of the drain pipe, pouring a concrete layer above the drain hole, and depositing a sand layer above the concrete layer, with the sand layer covering the top opening.
Ground covering for outdoor application
A ground covering comprising: a base panel including a sheet with an array of protrusions extending therefrom; a top panel including an array of receptacles for mating with at least a number of said protrusions; one or more drainage conduits formed through each of the protrusions, each drainage conduit being at least partially occluded by a baffle; and complementary engagement formations on peripheries of the protrusions and of the receptacles for fastening the top panel to the base panel.
Ground Water Filtration System
Systems and methods for a ground water filtration system are described. The ground water filtration system includes paver blocks designed to facilitate liquid seepage between the paver blocks and to route the seepage to a preferred area. The ground water filtration system additionally provides at least one layer of stone to facilitate flow direction of the seepage to an outflow pipe. At least one geogrid fabric is also provided to further enhance ground water filtration.
