Permeable Paving System
A method for forming a permeable pavement system includes installing a plurality of preformed paving blocks to form a paving surface. Each of the preformed paving blocks includes an upper surface, a lower surface generally parallel to and spaced apart from the upper surface, and a pair of parallel ducts extending horizontally through the block between the upper surface and the lower surface. After forming the paving surface, the method further includes inserting a transmission device through at least one of the parallel ducts of each paving block of the plurality of preformed paving blocks. Finally, the method includes using a controlling device to control the transmission device such that the temperature of the plurality of preformed paving blocks is automatically maintained at a predetermined range, wherein the controlling device selectively adjusts one of electrical current through the transmission device or circulation of a fluid through the transmission device.
PLAY APPARATUS FOR DEVELOPING BALANCE AND COORDINATION
A play structure for an indoor or outdoor playground is disclosed. The play structure comprises an inner molded unit made of poured-in-place (PIP) rubber subsurface. The PIP rubber subsurface is poured with a mixture of rubber buffing and urethane configured to deliver improved safety, playability, and reduced maintenance requirement. The play structure further comprises a synthetic outer layer adhered to an outer surface of the inner molded unit. The outer layer adheres to the outer surface of the inner molded unit using an adhesive layer. The play structure further comprises a flat bottom surface configured to mount over the playground system and a top surface with different angles. A set of play structures are shaped and arranged on the play surface to develop core strength, balance, and coordination in toddlers by walking, jumping, and climbing on them. Further, the play structure is provided in different design configurations.

Equestrian arena surface filtration system and related methods
An equestrian arena surface filtration system includes a plurality of wash drains configured to be buried below an arena surface and each wash drain having a coupling. The system also includes a wash pipe coupled to the plurality of wash drains via a respective coupling and a plurality of wash boxes. Each of the wash boxes has a stub pipe passing therethrough and the stub pipe has an upper end and a lower end. The lower end of the stub pipe is configured to be coupled to the respective coupling. In addition, the tops of the plurality of wash boxes are adjusted to be positioned approximately at a same level as a top of the arena surface so that wash water flooding the arena surface is collected by the plurality of wash boxes and flushed out through the wash pipe.

EXTRACTION OF SURFACE COMPOSITION FOR CLAY-LIKE ATHLETIC FIELDS
A method of extracting surface composition for a clay-like athletic field is disclosed. The method includes extracting a by-product i.e., coal shale, which is a sedimentary rock that has undergone high-temperature combustion during the coal mining process. The coal shale is crushed to predefined size particles. The coal shale is dried for a predetermined time period. Subsequently, the dried coal shale is screened via mesh screens of different grain sizes to separate the dried shale for use as the surface composition for the clay-like athletic field, such as a clay tennis court. The coal shale is used in place of a traditional crushed brick.
