Spring tension system for tile
10060083 · 2018-08-28 · ·

A spring tension system for a floor tile has spring loop with a base portion and a hoop portion. The base portion has two arms extending outwardly at a first angle from a center-point which together to form the hoop portion. The spring loop is formed into a first side of a first floor tile. A tapered recess is formed into a second side of a second floor tile. The tapered recess includes an opening which forms two tapered walls which extend inwardly toward a center of the second floor tile at a second angle. The second angle is smaller than the first angle. The spring loop formed into the first side of the first floor tile is received into the tapered recess formed into the second side of the second floor tile, the spring loop contacting the walls of the tapered recess to form a friction fit.

COMPUTER-CONTROLLED SIDEWALK TILES

Command instruction data can be generated via a computerized control system, with the instruction data being formatted to prompt a plurality of tile units to change their output. The instruction data can be sent from the control system to the tile units, with each of the tile units including a tile controller connected to one or more tiles embedded in one or more sidewalk floors, and with each of the tiles including a user interface output device. At least part of the instruction data from the control system can be received via a tile controller of a tile unit. At least part of the instruction data can be processed via the tile controller. In response, the user interface output device of the tile can be signaled via the tile controller to change the output of the output device.

Intelligent Solar Roadway System and Solar Roadway Panels

An intelligent roadway system of trafficable solar roadway panels for collecting solar energy, converting the solar energy into electricity, illuminating LEDs, storing and distributing the electrical energy and sensing dynamic conditions on and about the trafficable solar roadway panels and communicating the sensed dynamic conditions and precise global positioning system (GPS) location of the sensed dynamic conditions to a user for use.

A photoelectric water-permeable pavement configuration includes a photoelectric module and a water-permeable unit below the photoelectric module. The photoelectric module is arranged on a ground surface and includes a base. A water-permeable channel is formed at a periphery of the base. A solar panel is mounted on a top of the base. Fixing members are provided on a bottom of the base and positioned on the water-permeable unit. A hollowed region is provided inside the base. Communicating pipes are connected to and extended outward from the hollowed region to communicate with adjacent bases. The water-permeable unit is a water-permeable pavement including a frame structure formed of multiple vertical water-permeable pipes and poured with concrete grout, or a water-permeable pavement formed by directly paving a water-permeable material, or a water-permeable pavement having water-permeable holes formed by drilling, such that a concrete structure pavement having a plurality of drainage holes is constructed.

ILLUMINATED PAVER

An illuminated paver comprises a body including a top part having a decorative outer surface and a separate bottom part attached to the top part. The body houses a light source to be electrically connected to an associated external power source. An inner surface of at least one of the top part and the bottom part includes a plurality of strengthening ribs extending between the top and bottom parts of the body. The strengthening ribs are configured to reflect light emitted from the light source so as to randomly disperse light passing through the decorative outer surface. An electrical cord wrap is provided on an outer surface the bottom part and includes a plurality of cord receiving recesses.
