Paving Block with Improved Illumination
A method of manufacturing a paving block with embedded photoluminescent material, comprising the steps of mixing sand, aggregate, water, and cement to form an uncured concrete mixture; mixing phosphorescent pigments, sand, cement, aggregate, and water to form an uncured phosphorescent mixture; providing a paving block mold; pouring the uncured concrete mixture into the paving block mold to fill the paving block mold; compressing the uncured concrete mixture in the paving block mold via a tamper head until the paving block mold is between 80% and 90% full; pouring the uncured phosphorescent mixture into the paving mold block to substantially fill the paving block mold; and compressing and vibrating the uncured concrete mixture and the uncured phosphorescent mixture in the paving mold block to generate an uncured paving block having a desired thickness and density.

System and method for customizing a playing field
A customizable tile system includes a tile disposed atop a surface; a forced fluid system comprising a pipe disposed below the tile and operatively coupled to a pump; a bladder operatively connected to the pipe, wherein the bladder is selectively inflatable; a sensor operatively coupled to the bladder; and a control system operable to control the pump. The control system includes a processor in data communication with the sensor, and computer memory, the computer memory comprising a program having machine readable instructions that, when effected by the processor, predicts a location of an impact upon the tile and selectively forces fluid through the pipe to inflate the bladder prior to the impact upon the tile.

System and apparatus for dynamic pavement markings
A method includes positioning one or more roadway sensors and a plurality of a networked array of light emitting diode (LED) raised pavement markers on a road. Sensors proximate the road are associated with a network of road marking controllers that cooperate to control the LEDs as vehicles drive on the road. The LEDs operate as a networked array of roadway lane marking lights. The road marking controller(s) determine a distance between a vehicle on the road and the roadway sensor, determine a dynamic condition associated with the vehicle that changes with respect to time, and lights the plurality of LEDs based at least in part on the distance between the vehicle and the roadway sensor and the dynamic condition associated with the vehicle. Dynamic conditions for operating the LED lighting scheme can include vehicle velocity, a date, a time, a weather condition proximate the vehicle, and other factors.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND SYSTEM
An object of the present disclosure is to enable an emergency vehicle to travel more smoothly to a destination. An information processing apparatus sets a special lane for traveling of an emergency vehicle on a road on a scheduled travel route along which the emergency vehicle travels to reach a destination. Furthermore, the information processing apparatus transmits a display command to display the special lane to a display apparatus that displays information along a lane on a road surface of the road on the scheduled travel route.
