DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS RELATED TO EXTRACTING INFILL FROM ARTIFICIAL TURF
A machine for extracting infill from artificial turf includes a first conveyor forming an inclined surface having movable tracks to engage and move a length of artificial turf from a first end to a second end of the machine. A rake disposed on the first end of the machine may include teeth configured to engage an underside of the turf for feeding onto the first conveyer. The machine may also include a first roller disposed above the first conveyor, where the first roller is movable to apply a downward force to a top surface of the first conveyor. The machine may further include a second roller on the second end of the machine, where the second roller includes protrusions that agitate the turf for assisting in removing infill. The machine may also include a second conveyor to receive infill removed from the turf for discharge from the machine.

LIFTING OF CONCRETE COMPONENTS
A lifting system for a concrete component comprises a void former incorporated into the component during casting and which provides within the component a void which receives a locking pin of a lifting anchor assembly which is locked within the void by rotation of a locking pin. The lifting anchor assembly has a visual indicator to indicate when the pin is in its locked condition within the void, and a pivotal lifting shackle of the assembly is prevented from movement into a position in which lifting can take place until the pin is in its locked condition. Preferably a base of the void former is configured to retain components of a jacking system by which a concrete slab used for road repair can be jacked into a level configuration with the remainder of the roadway when it has been positioned by use of the lifting system.
Methods and apparatus for mobile additive manufacturing of advanced structures and roadways
The present disclosure provides various aspects for mobile and automated processing utilizing additive manufacturing and the methods for their utilization. In some examples, the mobile additive manufacturing apparatus may perform surface treatments that support the building of walls. Other examples may involve the support of creating and repairing advanced roadways.
Repair structure cracks using self-moving filler materials
A method, system, and computer program product for repairing cracks in structures by automatically transferring filler materials along a magnetic force pathway inside the structures. The method may include identifying a crack in a structure. The method may include analyzing dimensions and positions of the crack. The method may include identifying an array of magnetic coils near the crack, wherein the array of magnetic coils can create a magnetic path to the crack. The method may include determining an appropriate filler material reservoir connected with the structure based on the array of magnetic coils and the crack in the structure. The method may include transmitting instructions to release a quantity of the filler material mixture from the appropriate filler material reservoir connected with the structure for each of the one or more cracks.
High content polyamide hot-applied thermoplastic composition
A hot applied thermoplastic pavement composition and method of using a hot applied thermoplastic pavement composition includes a modified polyamide resin in the range of between 3 and 10 percent by weight, wherein the composition contains rosin-modified esters, a copolymer, 30-70 percent by weight of a glass bead intermix, a range of between 1 and 15 percent by weight of either white or yellow pigment, the balance of the composition being selected from the group consisting of one or more plasticizers, inorganic fillers, waxes, antioxidants and light stabilizers.
Apparatus and method for preparing asphalt and aggregate mixture
An asphalt and aggregate mixture and methods for preparing and using same are provided which utilize solid phase auto regenerative cohesion and homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization technologies. The mixtures are suitable for use in installing asphalt/concrete pavement, repairing asphalt/concrete pavement, and providing overlays to existing asphalt/concrete pavement. The slurries can contain recycled asphalt/concrete pavement subject to treatment.
Paver haul truck grouping
A method of establishing a desired flow of haul trucks with respect to a jobsite can include receiving, from a paver locating device, a paver location signal indicative of a location of a paver. A central computer can establish a desired location range of the first haul truck based on the paver location signal and a first haul truck location signal.
