Boarding bridge

A boarding bridge including: an inner tunnel walking deck which positioned above a floor of an inner tunnel with a space the therebetween, and forms a walking passage of the inner tunnel. An outer tunnel walking deck which positioned above a floor of the outer tunnel with a space therebetween, and forms a walking passage of the outer tunnel. The outer tunnel walking deck positioned at a height between the floor of the inner tunnel and the inner tunnel walking deck.

Air passenger stair or bridge with an approximately U-shaped portal frame disposed at the front of the air passenger stair or bridge for receiving a canopy roof

An air passenger stair or an air passenger bridge (1) with an approximately U-shaped portal frame (3) disposed on the front end of the air passenger stair or bridge (1) for receiving a canopy roof (10), the canopy roof comprising at least one bellows (5) and an actuation device (9) for the bellows, wherein, in order to connect at least the actuation device (9) of the canopy roof (10) with the portal frame (10), an adapter device is disposed on the portal frame (3).

Rainwater Receiver of Movable Boarding Bridge
20170037587 · 2017-02-09 ·

Disclosed is a rainwater receiver of a movable boarding bridge. The rainwater receiver of a movable boarding bridge may comprise rainwater receivers provided at: an outer tunnel; an inner tunnel disposed inside the outer tunnel; an inner tunnel footpath equipped in the inner tunnel and configured in the form of a footpath so that passengers can walk thereon; an outer tunnel footpath disposed at the lower end of the inner tunnel footpath and configured in a multilayer form; and the lower end of the outer tunnel footpath. A tunnel path part of the movable boarding bridge configured as above is positioned to be separated from the rainwater receivers so that the rainwater receivers are not seen by passengers inside a tunnel. In addition, since there is no height difference caused by the rainwater receivers, there is an advantage in that problems such as passengers' sprained ankles can be resolved.

Method for positioning an access or loading assembly against the fuselage of an aircraft

A method for positioning an access or loading assembly against the fuselage of an aircraft during the loading or unloading process, in which at least two multichannel scanners are oriented toward the aircraft fuselage and disposed above one another at a distance from each other, each with several light emitting units and at least one detector. First, a reference position is determined by using the scanners, then a current position of the aircraft fuselage relative to the access or loading assembly is determined at determined time intervals by the multichannel scanners. The current position is compared with the reference position to determine a deviation. In case of a deviation between the two positions, a signal is transmitted to the control system of the positioning drive for realigning the access or loading assembly and reducing the deviation.

Device for resisting lifting of a gangway and gangway fitted with such device

A sprung gangway that is counterbalanced to remain in a given degree of extension or retraction includes a lifting resistance device that includes a linear index rail that slides selectively into and out of a hollow sheath unless engaged by a locking paw that is pivotally mounted to the sheath via a pivot bar, which when pivoted by tugging on a release cord effects disengagement of the locking paw and thereby permits raising of the gangway from the lowered working orientation to a storage orientation.
