GANGWAY ASSEMBLY
A gangway for use with a container to be accessed is provided. The gangway comprises a fixed platform and a support structure connected to the fixed platform in a manner that allows the support structure to rotate with respect to the fixed platform between a raised stowed position and a lowered deployed position. An end platform is pivotally connected at the distal end of the support structure, the end platform defining an upper walking surface and a bottom surface that engages the top of the container, the height between the bottom surface and the walking surface being no greater than one inch.
Microbridges for regional aircraft and methods of using same
An aircraft boarding apparatus has a passenger bridge that has a confinement structure coupled to the second passenger bridge. The confinement structure exerts a ground-anchoring effect on the second passenger bridge to offset the ultralight configuration of the passenger bridge.

AQUEDUCT LEAKAGE REPAIRING METHOD
The present invention relates to an aqueduct leakage repairing method, a formwork is provided within an aqueduct body; a reinforcing layer is formed by using the formwork through casting at inner sides of the aqueduct body; the formwork comprises side formwork plates, bottom formwork plates, and axillary angle formwork plates; the side formwork plates are arranged at inner vertical walls of the aqueduct body, the bottom formwork plates are arranged on a bottom of the aqueduct body, the bottom formwork plates are connected with the side formwork plates through the axillary angle formwork plates; and the axillary angle formwork plates are each provided with a plurality of ribs. The aqueduct leakage repairing method effectively reinforces penetration damage of the aqueduct, and the construction process is simple since the formwork is free from dismantling after construction.
Elevated guideway with propulsion duct for pneumatic transport
An elevated guideway performing the function of supporting, guiding and propelling pneumatic transport vehicles for passengers and loads. The two-part elevated guideway is formed by two components, each corresponding to one side of the cross section, divided by a vertical axis passing through the center of the slot. Components are not symmetrical, the left hand component having a wider top table. Components are joined through a niche already present at the lower slabs which is filled with a structural resin. Niche for joining the two-part elevated guideway has a central type female-female fitting. The elevated guideway includes guideway guards, two additions for installing the propulsion duct slot seal, tubes for the electric power supply and telecommunication and control cables, the protective railing for protection in the side emergency gangway, the unit for securing the rail via the web thereof, rails and the third and fourth electric power supply rails of the vehicle. The two-part elevated guideway may have, combined on the same beam of the propulsion duct, a secondary propulsion duct, thereby forming a single, non-separable structure.
Bridge Construction System and Method
The bridge construction system and method according to the present invention provides a lightweight, efficient, economical, long-lasting, and easily implemented composite steel structure that can be filled with concrete in place for the construction of pedestrian and smaller road bridges, specifically those found in rural areas. The bridge construction system of the present invention is unique in that it is a steel-frame reinforced composite bridge with decking and rebar caging that provides a permanent, non-removable form for poured-in-place concrete. The composite nature of the bridge allows for installation of the bridge to take place in one day, while the entire process from site preparation such as grading and excavation to cleanup takes a week or less. The quick installation of the bridge is designed to have a minimally invasive impact on the surrounding environment.

Next generation of urban vehicle charging station
A structure for effectively providing charging capacity for electric vehicles within urban environments in a safe and space conscious manner uses a new vertical building typology. A modular helix ramp structure with integrated wireless charging panels/coils charges vehicles as they drive up and down the structure without the need to physically park the vehicle in a traditional parking structure. A license plate reader, transponder or other vehicle identification technology registers a vehicle entering the tower, authorize purchase and initiate the up/down charging cycle thru the helix structure. The structure reduces the building footprint required to charge a given number of vehicles. This consolidates electrical infrastructure connection requirements to a single location, and because the vehicles are not occupied during charging exposure of vehicle inhabitants to electromagnetic radiation.

EXPRESS FLOOD MITIGATION WORKS USING ELEVATED AND OR AT GROUND LEVEL WITH TUNNEL INTEGRATED LARGE SCALE AQUEDUCT WITH NUMEROUS FUNCTIONS, WITH MAIN FUNCTION TO DIVERT FLOOD WATER OR RIVER WATER AWAY FROM CITIES IN ORDER TO FIGHT OR MITIGATE FLOOD EVENTS AND EFFECT OF GLOBAL WARMING, WITH DISCHARGE INVERT LEVELS TO THE SEA HIGHER THAN HIGH TIDE LEVELS
A system for flood water or water flow mitigation includes at least one aqueduct or drain having a first section linking a river, lake, reservoir, water retention pond or dam to another section linked to another lake, reservoir, storage tank or sea, characterized in that the first section are positioned at higher than the other section, and the aqueducts or drains are configured to be placed above ground level or extend upward from sides of river or existing drain, such that invert levels of the aqueducts or drains are higher than sea levels during high tide flooding or sea level increases.
